Most players aren't duelists that dream of one day becoming the pharaoh and marrying Kaiba or whatever. We play a few games and hop off. Nobody has time to read the effects of a deck that you can shit on without thinking 9 times out of 10.

The fact that he had time in between his second try to read the card effect of crimson nova to realize it isn’t affected by monsters with 3000 or less original attack, and STILL decided to try a second time is beyond hilarious

Literally had this exact thing happen a lil while ago, decode talker and everything, fighting past raigeki's and him drawing his entire brigade deck. It may have been a tie in the end but mans' really thought he could stop a cube

I understand both sides honestly. Time passes and I refuse to read a single cubic card
it's actually a pretty cool RPGesque (almost Pokemon like) deck where your starter creature has a branching path and could evolve following two different lines, then you have a cooler monster, and then the legendary, it's really like having a pokemon party lol
But it's wayyyyy too slow

A friendly reminder that 90% of the Yugioh player base, usually with Japanese or Korean letters in their names can't fucking read for shit.
The monster is unaffected by Card Effects of Monsters whose original ATK is 3k or less and can do 2 attacks if it destroys a monster on it's first attack.
They thought it would be a good idea to learn to read sentences before words
@Adrian Murillo probably Numberon is the cheapest deck for a straight otk since majority of the cards are N and R. Most ppl making alt account use them just to pass gold fast if they didn't use a meta deck

My greatest victory while using cubic deck, is when i got in my hand 2 cubic waves and 1 cubic karma. Use karma to add 2400 atk to crimson nova, double and double it again into 21600 atk while their shuraig in 750 atk wondering why they cant banish my monster...

I once stalled out a meta deck with a single Vjam. It is funny that they had no answer to my 0/0 defense wall that could not be destroyed by battle.
I ended up otking with crimson nova a couple of turns later.
A personal favorite of mine is when I dueled against an Aroma player:
Back in Duel Links, that was the deck I hated MOST. I rarely won duels against it.
However, in Master Duel, things got a whole lot better.
One time in Master Duel, I dueled against an Aroma player who managed to gain up to 20,000 LP. However, the duel lasted past a dozen turns, so eventually…I managed to use Greater Polymerization to summon Crimson Nova *Trinity!* I also doubled its ATK to 9000
So when I attack, CNT activates its effect where it cuts my opponent's LP in half, shrinking their LP to about 5000 LP.
As I activate its effect to attack again, already preparing to halve their LP, the Aroma player rage quits.
*Never have I felt such catharsis from a duel before.*

I would have activated the cubic karma first, you know having a 10,800 monster in field is always better than 6000
And if it gets removed then you have another free nova. That or the odd gigachad play of using it's third effect to halve your opponents LP if you can trigger any of the other cubic monster's effects.

(Still kinda shocking that producers haven't asked Sho Hayami to voice a YGO character yet; likely a villain. Hell, we had Gin, Tosen, Ukitake, Tokinada, Kira, Ulquiorra, Harribel, Askin, Lille, Komamura, Kyoraku and such's CVs star in at least one series, Sho Hayami is a gold mine choice.)

Haha I just got a first turn ultimate countdown and set up crooked cook pass. Sat and watched the tri brigade do random stuff for 20 turns. Made my day

He could’ve also gotten greedier and used cubic karma to boost his attack even further before starting his battle phase if he still had vijams in his deck so Zeus being in defence wouldn’t have mattered
