    I visited Kraków 3 years ago. One day took the double decker bus to see the city . So worthwhile! At some point I notice a line of people that was stretching for more than 2 city blocks ! Wondered what people lined up for? What was so worth waiting for ? It was about 4 pm on a Sunday. People lined up to get ice cream 🍨!
    YUMMM ❤️🇵🇱😘🍓🥥

    I just got back - LOVED IT! 30 Million tourists per year visit Krakow. The Square (biggest in Europe) is rimmed with bars/restaurants and horse drawn carriages - beautiful!
    English is taught in Poland from Primary school - so language is NOT a problem! Also, the prices are real cheap (if you have a look around). Food-excellent, friendliness- excellent... Im definitely going back !

    Świderki lody are the best Polish ice cream, in my opinion. They are like a swirl of chocolate and vanilla and the cream itself is to die for. This coming from a real Polish person, in Krakow at this moment, not to say the least

    Just came back from Krakow. Your video captured it perfectly.
    St. Mary's church is actually for free if you go in the back door and just want to look and pray. Did you hear the trumpet player?

      Thank you! How long did you visit?

    • @xavdanda
      @xavdanda 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      When you come to pray, there is no limit as to how long you want to stay... but going to the front and see the wooden carved altarpiece or other treasures, is when you have to pay. The same is true for the Cathedral in Wawel Hill... although I would definitely pay there to see the kings and queens mausoleums in detail.

      Ryuu Onosuke actually Cracow was damaged heavly several times - e.g. it was besieged and sacked by Mongols, suffered several times huge fire.

    • @jas0nutub3
      @jas0nutub3 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Where did you get that from? Just googled it and they dont consider Poland as one of the chacras of mother earth... They mention California, Peru, Australia, Glastonbury, the Tibet, the great piramids...

    • @michadoniec8151
      @michadoniec8151 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krak%C3%B3w_Fire_of_1850 the great fire en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sack_of_Krak%C3%B3w_(1241) sacking by Mongols,. You know you can say that most cities have not been totally destroyed at some part of history because some part of the city survived - e.g. still we have some remains of the ancient Rome. It has nothing to do with any chakra.

    The thing that will shock you when you come to Poland is the dramatic air quality. In mamy places pollution is so high that it is equivalent to smoking 15 or more cigarettes a day! It is usual here that norms of pollution are exceeded 10 or 15 times (!!) Thousands of Poles die every year because the air here is by far the worst in Europe.

    Great video guys! I've been to Krakow twice and you pretty much covered all the the turistic things to do, however you missed one! When in Krakow or Poland for that matter you MUST visit a "milk bar" its a cafeteria type restaurant that serves what's only on their board just how the used to back in communist Poland. It is also known because the ladies serving the food usually actually often don't smile since they have absolutely no time to waste so you must know what you want if not they'll serve the next person in line. The food is delicious and super cheap!! Its an experience on its own. Lots of love from Allentown PA!

    I just booked a solo bus ticket and accommodation yesterday (with no prior planning) to go to Krakow in February and then just typed "Krakow TH-cam" and your video came up.. Wow! I know it probably won't be this cool due to winter but I am sure I will enjoy my 2 day stay there. I am studying in Czech Republic and I promised myself to see as many places as I can while in Europe. Thank you for sharing your Krakow experience :) :)

    Did you guys do Budapest and Krakow on the same trip? Did you use Orbitz? Would you recommend go to one or the other first? We were thinking arriving then week in Krakow then week in Budapest then returning to US.

    • @samuelandaudrey
      @samuelandaudrey  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      On this trip we were in Budapest first. Ah, Orbitz is a good choice and we also use Google Flights and Kayak. They've both fantastic cities to visit. I'd squeeze them both in if possible.

    Hi again guys,
    Just wondered if in your travels in Poland if you saw much Boleslawsiec pottery? I’m keen on buying some but I believe the Polish postal system is not great, so shipping it home to Australia could be problematic. Any insights regarding this please?
    Cheers from Marg in Australia

    You guys should visit the alpine town of Zakopane some day if you happen to find yourself in the area again, which is about a 2 hours drive from Kraków, on the border with Slovakia and in the Tatra Mountains, hands down my favourite place in Poland especially in the winter with all the Polish highland / Goral wooden architecture. You can book tickets from PolskiBus for as low as 1 zloty (that's about 20 US cents!!) to get from the bus station right below Galeria Krakowska direct to the town of Zakopane. I stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights.
    I visited Poland twice in the past two years, once in November 2015 and again in November 2016, definitely one of my favourite countries in Europe.

      Also visit the capital Warsaw if you have the chance. Many people actually give Warsaw a miss but in my opinion Warsaw is larger, more cosmopolitan compared to Krakow and the old town that was rebuilt some 50+ years ago is also quite beautiful. Zlote Tarasy also has better shopping than the shopping centres in Krakow.

    Delightful video! Thanks to the author of the channel for this fascinating video! It is interesting to see how people live in other countries! It is very important to know foreign languages on such trips. I would like to recommend to all travelers a practical guide to learning foreign languages by Yuriy Ivantsiv "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages". This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign language, you just need to learn what you can use when you travel. I wish everyone exciting travels!

    You forgot about the National Museum in Krakow. There you will see Dame with an Ermine Leonardo da Vinci. When you want to see twin cities. You go to Lviv or to Vilnius. Go to the Cemetery of the Lwów Eagles or the cemetery at Rosia. Then you will understand where Poland was. th-cam.com/video/2DrXgj1NwN8/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/3OoSdnebLxw/w-d-xo.html My family coat of arms is Lubicz.
