    Cinema 4D Scene Files for my Patrons: / underwater-light-69912298
    Following my Bioluminescent Jellyfish Tutorial (which took place underwater) I've received a few questions how to make an underwater scene in Cinema 4D.
    A huge part of it is Volumetric Caustics, aka God Rays, aka Crepuscular Rays, aka Ocean Caustics, ake etc... Here's a simple method for emulating those rays which is a lot faster than using actual caustics.
    Because almost anything is faster than actual caustics.

    Just another incredible tutorial 💙. Btw, can I render this in Arnold Renderer or just it works in native render? If so, I think this can help me to recreate that Nothern Light that you made recently.

      The end result that you have. Iv tried a bunch of things but how did you go from the blue God Rays to that last render where there is a white intensity to the rays?

    How do you add the tiny floating things? They add so much detail so I'm interested on how to do them :D

    • @DanielDanielsson
      @DanielDanielsson  7 ปีที่แล้ว +31

      Tiny polygon with a circular gradient and some noise in the alpha channel. Put that up in a cloner, with a shit-ton of clones (check render instances for speed), random effector for randomness, another random effector in turbulence mode and slow animation speed for a wafting shimmering look. The blur the FUCK out of it in post. Basically.
      Thanks for watching. :)

    Amazing tutorial!! Just one quetsion: how did you add that subtle rainbow spectrum in the final render (you can see that at 4:17)?

      in 0:07 shows you logo, maybe can you make a tutorial of this logo or logo text only? Very interisting looking, like Anaglyph effect or something like that.

    • @DanielDanielsson
      @DanielDanielsson  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh that bit, I think the effect you mean might be the Chromatic Aberration?
      If that's the case I already do have a tutorial on that:
