Oh man I have a GLA 2021 same color but amg line not amg engine and after my research online two months ago I also ended up buying the exact same products for cleaning, the matte paint wash and the detailer spray from Chemical Guys is the way to go. I even bought the same sponge same color. Shiny, no marks and fabulous after every wash! Indeed you don’t need to apply a lot of the spray sealant ;)
Looking forward to a video of yours for interior cleaning, especially products for the nappa steering wheel, the artico leather and the screens !

Great car and awesome color choice on the AMG mate. Next time, spray the Sio2 sealant spray on the towel and apply to the car. It will work so much better. Keep making them videos.

Nicely explained and great production quality. Down the line, can you do a video on the differences between the 45 and 45s? I ask because we don’t have the S variant in North America
The only difference is the tune. The 45 has less power because the gas in USA is considered lesser quality than in Europe... so Mercedes detuned it for USA and Canada.
Thank you! Yes its a shame you cant get the 45s in NA :( The non s 45 is still an amazing car though! I think In NA you have to spec an amg performance pack to get race mode etc.

@@NaqiRaza you can goto a tuner and get the extra power back and more... but if the dealer finds out they will void your warranty. 😢
i get my cla with this matte finish next week and i still dont know how to wash it since here in germany its not allowed to wash your car at home, you need to go to a washbox or car wash... and even at a wash box you usually cant bring your own stuff... :D
Ah! As long as you don't use anything abrasive or with any added wax it should be ok. Best option is a pure shampoo of they have them at the washbox
My AMG because of the frameless doors just seems to drip water continuously from the bottom of the frame. I love washing my car, but drying it is an absolute nightmare, as there seems to be drips constantly from the door frames from the side mirrors.
Hi Carl, this happens with a lot of coupes/nice shaped cars. You can get heated air dryers/blowers that do an amazing job at getting water out of panel gaps, mirrors etc. There's a company called bigboi that specialize in air dryers designed for cars. Worth having a look into ibigboi.com/

Just a question why didn’t you consider to PPF the entire car?
Hey, I did think about it but overall it was very expensive and I really wanted to see how well the Matte paint would do without anything to create some honest experience videos on it since there's so much conflicting Information online. I do highly recommend PPF though.

or simply unlock the doors, open any door and close it. It will remain unlocked

I prefer not to use mits and sponges over my matte paints, ever. I only soap with a machine, jet watering and then air blowing to get the chassis and rims to get dried up... and done! Else, you start to "polish" your paint by sponges and such. I own an A45S, enjoy yours.
Hey Atalay, What soap do you use with this method if you dont mind me asking? I have tried a few and they never properly clean the car, looks great till I dry it! I've only had success using some of the stronger and harsher chemicals but I'd be worried using these on the matte paint. Cheers, Adam
@@ABAUTOAMG Well, I live overseas, brands probably won't apply there, but, any kind of Ph neutral soap w/o polisher is enough.

Hi Shin, No problem! I'm now using a Nilfisk Core 140 (amzn.to/3pyGcGe) with the Nilfisk foam gun (amzn.to/3pyZmMc). The pressure washer does come with a foam fun but It's not great. The one I linked above is so much better and creates a nice foam. I upgraded to the Core 140 because It has such a long hose reel. I don't have to use any extensions now which really speeds things up!

Ah sure thing! I actually use autoglym polar blast snow foam. It’s safe on the matte paint and a great pre wash. You can put the chemical guys shampoo through too. I have done this after snow foaming right before the wash not for a bit of extra soap but it’s not always needed.
Now I know how to wash mine!! 😬
No problem! It was really easy. Just don't use too much of the sealant like I did at first!

Good video but I take it you live where it’s motorways and dual carriageways rather than country B and minor roads because the car looked like it was barely dirty, if you lived rural that car would be filthy after a week and way more caked up with mud and road crud, one day on rural Lincolnshire roads and that would be mud city.
Ah, Yep that's right I'm pretty lucky here and mostly stick to modern roads. We did take Amelia pumpkin picking that week which involved some farm driving but took Becky's car!

hey apply some meguires hybrid ceramic wax + use a leaft blower to dry the car. its dont leave water marks + no scratch :)
rmb to get a mesh to cover the bottom right radiator as is very prone to stone chips! Does your wiper skips? MINE DOES AND ITS ANNOYING!
