I just purchased the matte kit. I have a few questions... 1) How much Jet Seal Matte should we apply to the surface? A thin coat, or a generous application? 2) When it is time to re-apply, what is the best way to remove the old compound, before re-applying? (Also, thanks for talking about matte colors on bikes, I own a Ducati, and that is why I'm here. :))
I have a couple issues with this video. I own a factory matte painted car to start. First, he said they washed the car with ecosmart waterless detail system, which contains waxes and gloss enhancers that can permanently damage matte paint. Second he suggested applying the sealant with a rotary tool. From what I have heard that is a huge mistake on matte paint and can leave deep swirls as well as flatten spots out and give you an uneven finish. I have used this product and it works well, but I would only apply by hand and make sure I washed the car with a proper matte paint soap.
Ok you said dual action polisher. Still not for matte paint. Nothing with a motor should be used on matte paint, it should all be done by hand. And please explain how ecosmart is safe on matte paint?

Hi! Good question. Meticulous Matte Auto Wash is ph balanced and will not strip the JetSeal Matte that you have on your car! You can reapply JetSeal Matte when needed. Hello from India. I am planning to purchase a Royal Enfield classic 350cc motorcycle having a gunmetal grey color which has a matte finish. Is it a good idea to apply jet seal matte as soon as the purchase is done assuming that it will protect the matte grey paint of the bike for a year? Also, is it mandatory to use matte detailer after using the jet sea matte? And how often should one use these products after an application?
do these apply to matte clear coat finishes? I am thinking of painting with matte clear but I need easy to care finish. Special care is not going to work for me.
Hi Rhett, This combo is perfect for your matte clear coat finish. The JetSeal Matte is easy-to-care and special care because of its strength and durability. It has an easy-to-use formula that you just spread on, then buff off. Simple. The durability and strength is its bread and butter. It's designed to help repel harsh UV solar rays, pollution, water spots, bug and bird residues, road grime and also help prevent fading staining, and discoloration. All this protection can last you up to 12 months. If you want to add the Meticulous Matte Detailer for enhancement, that's your choice. The Meticulous Matte Detailer is an extra layer of protection for the JetSeal.
Hi Randy, good question. Both products are made for matte and satin finishes! Meticulous Matte Quick Detailer and Spray Sealant enhances a crisp matte sheen on any OEM or aftermarket matte or satin paintwork and wraps. JetSeal Matte protects and enhances matte and satin paintwork, vinyl wraps, and clear bras for up to 12 months with just one coat! Thanks for watching, Randy, and stay tuned for more uploads headed your way soon!

Hi, that's a really interesting question, unfortunately it doesn't. Jet Seal Matte is a paint sealant adapted for matte paint and vinyl applications, it's not a polish that can remove scratches. You can try cleaning that area to mask the scratches, however, you will need some touch up paint. Stay tuned for more great videos!

Hey Halligan, You're absolutely correct! The Meticulous Matte Auto Wash is great for matte paint to clean, enhance, and protect the paint without adding any sort of gloss or shine. It's the perfect wash for JetSeal Matte because it's safe to not remove it, keeping it's protectant qualities in top shape.

Hi Karamjeet, The matte clear coat is made up of many tiny imperfections that make up the texture to diffuse light, not enhance it like a glossy car would. These imperfections are bunched up together to allow light to be reflected off of it to give it its dull look. As for sticking to the paint, they shouldn't be. The towels are designed with a 70/30 blend of microfiber for a scratch-free wiping, even for matte paint.
