  • Unboxing the Blazar Remus 1.5x Anamorphic Lenses with Blue Flare. Purchased these straight from their website and had them shipped to New Zealand.
    Video shot with the Sony FX30 as main and top-down angle. Anamorphic video shot on the Sony FX3 in 16x9, so the footage shown is the full de-squeeze without cropping to 2.35:1 or anything.
    Edited in Final Cut Pro
    Color Graded with the Moment Film Vision II LUT
    Music Licensed from Soundstripe.com

    im still a beginner and wanna do a short movie, would it make sense to use the 65mm or any of those with the zv e-10 camera?

    Nice! can you please make a video with the 45mm with a scene with much chromatic abberation at lowest F stop, then I would like to see how increasing the F number have an effect on the chromatic abberation and also bokeh, for me it seems like this lens have way too much CA at T2.0, so wonder if its more usable higher up without loosing to much smooth bokeh

    I finally received these, and I'm having a bit of trouble with aspect ratio since I stink at math, but nevertheless, the lenses are pretty amazing!

      if your sensor is 16:9, just multiply the 16 (the horizontal measurement that will be desqueezed) with the squeeze. So 16 * 1.5 = 24 -> 24:9 which 24/9 = a 2.67:1 ratio compared to a 2.4:1 or a 2.39:1 ratio that is the usual widescreen. If this was a 2x lens then you'd have a super wide 32:9 or 3.55:1 ratio. If 1.33x stretch, then you'd get a practically perfect 2.39:1 ratio with a 16:9 sensor.

      Ha, good catch! Since I was matching aspect ratios I just had a black matte underneath the anamorphic footage!

    Did you pay $300 for 3x EF mounts or just $100?

    • @KevinFedde
      @KevinFedde 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think it was about $140 or so total. Since I paid in New Zealand Dollars I don’t quite remember how much is was converted to USD.

      @@KevinFedde Oh so then the $100 is for 3x EF adapters. Thanks a lot!
