Have been following tanmay since 6 months, and realised he has grown a lot. How he touched the sky and then saw the rock bottom and finally bounced back, caught with clinical depression to living a happy progressive and healthy life. I have been following Tanmay from the days of 'On Air with AIB'. It was one of the best shows to ever exist. I was eagerly waiting for the 8th episode of the 3rd season but sadly AIB shutdown. Couple years down the line I spotted Tanmay on youtube, yeah that AIB guy. This guy fought clinical depression and made his way back to the thing he loved the most, MAKING PEOPLE LAUGH. I really appreciate Brut for making this video and teaching all the people who are watching this that 'it is never over until you say its over'.
Honestly, I could survive lockdown only because of Tanmay's streams, vlogs, and reaction videos.

The deal is many of us will just never know what it is to get that kind of attention and then have it taken away so brutally. My life's entertainment evolution has been around Tanmay. The first time I watched teen rom-com and fell in love with it was Kya Mast Hai Life, by him. Then, I discovered TH-cam for one channel and one channel only, AIB, headlined by him. The first video I crazed out for was a roast video which introduced me to the love of roast comedy, which was the KnockOut, by him. And then, started watching gaming channels because of, you guessed it, Tanmay Bhat. This dude has been everything I have ever known about short format entertainment and he's just amazing.
I witnessed everything and was a subscriber from the point when AIB was an underdog.. To the point tanmay bhat is at now. Truly an inspiration!!

Tanmay today is an inspiration to many especially millennials like me who have fought through many of the struggles we have faced in our times....its a been a tough way all throughout for Tanmay but the current way how Tanmay has been inspiring people with his videos on YT has not only given him direction but a lot others too in terms of aspirations and a purpose in life. Tanmay if you're watching this, I just want to say thank you for not giving up on yourself and for showing a generation like ours on how to fight through the struggles and the criticisms of life.

It might be a hard sip to accept but Tanmay Bhat is a Revolution Maker! Be it commedy/content creation, Tanmay can predict years ahead and present the best that you have never seen before OR Take any video from AIB, you would find it relevent even with the current trends!
They made a mistake to release aib roast on youtube for free . Nalle people with no sense of humour found it disgusting even when they were insulting bollywood.
But that wasn’t the reason behind the downfall of the AIB. The AIB shut down cause some attention seekers decided to hop on the me-too bandwagon and later those allegations turned out to be fake.

The fact that this video still doesn’t mention that the accusations made by the woman against the employee were false, infuriates me. The lady was not reprimanded for her false accusations at all even after proof came out, whereas the employee lost everything, including his respect and dignity. AIB got shut down because of it dude!!!

"A statement ; We’re sorry
We would like to address something that’s been said since allegations of sexual harassment were made against former AIB employee Utsav Chakraborty yesterday. It’s been said that AIB knew of the accusations during his employment and failed to take action. We’d like to offer some clarity on that.
We messed up. Since yesterday we’ve been trying to introspect and process what we did wrong, and everything that came up during our conversations all feel like excuses in hindsight and fact of the matter is that we messed up.
Some time after Utsav had stopped being an AIB employee, Tanmay Bhat received specific, detailed allegations about him in a private and personal conversation. Tanmay confronted Utsav in a personal capacity - which led to Utsav calling the victim, leading to further harassment. At the time, the accuser did not wish to pursue any further legal action. Out of respect for the person’s privacy, nobody else at AIB was informed of the specifics of the situation, and the matter ended there. And so, as a company, we continued working with Utsav in a freelance capacity for a little longer. That’s on us. We made a big mistake. We should have cut all ties immediately.
Since then, there have been occasions where we have heard stray insinuations against Utsav in passing, in green rooms and in comedy circles, most of which were commentary on his unprofessional or confrontational behaviour towards other comics. These insinuations were vague with no specific sexual details and no indication of the degree of sexual transgressions. And so we let our cognitive biases do the work our critical faculties should have. That should have been enough for us to listen, investigate, and take necessary action. We failed to listen when we should have and for that we are sorry. As senior members of the comedy fraternity, we could have showed better stewardship of the culture, by listening, instead of normalising.
This is the most honest account we can put forward of what we knew, how much we knew, and what we did and didn’t do on the basis of the information we had. We made mistakes in how we dealt with this information and this situation.
But. All reasoning beyond a point is just going to sound like we’re making excuses. It does not justify any of our actions. We also completely understand anyone who has felt disappointed, or angry, or betrayed by us over the last few days. We’re sorry."
@@i10i60 later recordings were leaked and utsav also posted his side of the story(with valid proofs).. and tbf everything was in favour of utsav fir.. but it never got the limelight... And about this statement, what else could tanmay do? Even if they knew utsav didn't do anything, they couldn't just simply take his side because the audience was sparked up and blinded by her lies...

AIB accepted that the harrasment did take place. They also accepted that they should have cut ties with Utsav once he harrassed the woman by calling her again. That's what Tanmay could have done. He could have also immediately opened investigations into the matter to reach a clear conclusion.
@@i10i60 the statement mentions tanmay's name, but then again these are all the statements of AIB. not Tanmay.. you never know what goes behind the scenes... The harrasment never took place. Even if it did, I think Tanmay is not the one who's supposed to take care of this(until and unless it was in the office premises/AIB shoot site). She should've complained to the police. But she won't, because police asks for proofs. And the statement does mention that Tanmay had a conversation with utsav. Which led to utsav calling the victim and leading to further harrasment. (Harrasment that never happened) and when this took place utsav was no longer working with AIB. So why would they bother? And moreover it was her who wanted to avoid judicial progress. If an XYZ person of an ABC company does something absurd in his "private" life. I feel the company shouldn't be dragged into this.

It was so weird to see AIB go down as a result of the Me-Too movement just because of a single guy (who may or may not have been guilty).
Either way, watching TB come back again and doing what he does best wasn't even surprising. I literally wait for his meme reviews :D Also it's like super good to see the entire AIB team not getting into any kind of controversies for once.
He wasn't guilty in the end, came clean. But media never covered it. After that this career ended. And rest went into the air without any damages to the one who spread lies.
Just an inspiration to break barriers, deal with criticism and finally rising up to be one of the best.
