I got to know Sunil Pal's name through tanmay bhat videos. My whole childhood I referred him as "vo jo Raju Srivastav ke saath rehta hai na. Vo dusra wala." If anything Sunil Pal should thank Tanmay Bhat.
The biggest irony is that, AIB's content actually sheds light on various social issues, esp Honest Indian Weddings or Harassment Through the Ages. Sketches that our 'parivaar' actually needs to see, albeit it being under the garb of slangs. If you make homophobic and sexist jokes Sunil Pal and label it as family friendly, no Indian family would ever progress.

I still remember 4 years ago there was an event in my city regarding opening of a new multiplex. Sunil pal was asked to perform in that event. Tanmay is a genuinely nice person. Never once was he personal or disrespectful about his brand of comedy. We need such gems. Also, I've been to a lot of shows by Tanmay and other "problematic" comedians. Most of them are really decent and respectful people and their jokes never ever make anyone feel uncomfortable. If I want "Parivaric" comedy (nothing inherently bad with that), I'll go to Raju Shrivastav. Its been more than a decade and Raju Shrivastav's comedy has aged so well compared to almost all of the other contemporaries. Sunil Pal should learn from the new wave of comedians and update himself with time instead of still living off the Laughter Challenge fame.
