Enjoyed watching you while knitting birds (Arne and Carlos’s book). Just saw The Last Thing He Told Me is a Reese Witherspoon produced series on AppleTV, starring Jennifer Garner, starting April 14. Loved the book (thanks to your suggestion). Hope it’s as good as the book.
I love this podcast. You two are so much fun to watch. Hope I meet you next weekend at one of the shows. Where can I find the tutorial on how to do those baskets?? Really cute. Thank you Diane
Hi ladies! The things: love them all. Liz-- this is jess.s.makes: I love love the dyed yarns -and that blue is perfect! Not only is the color definitely "me" but I also have hazel eyes with a rim of... blue! so--meant to be 😉 obviously. Ooh, for artwork: hedgehogs! They're adorable. I love the mosaic hats! I find that I need to knit the band and then switch to crochet...my crochet ribbing is 💩 That's it: I told my husband I need to join for your knit/crochet nights because I watch these episodes and I'm laughing and talking to you while I knit (he is my witness with the side glance)...writing paragraphs here in the comments--it might be nice to actually talk to people, live like. So, be warned 😇
I always seek out your book recommendations on Libby and just put your current one on hold as it sounds great! Recently finished the Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and I think that was one of yours. One I would recommend to you is “A School for Good Mothers” by Jessamine Chan. It’s a little dark but soooo good.
Are your chickens' feet wet? I watch Roots and Refuge Farm on TH-cam and she has mentioned that one reason your chickens may not be laying eggs could be because their substrate contains too much moisture.
Thanks for the suggestion. I don’t think they are. They have nice dry house with lots of room. Hopefully when the days get longer they’ll start laying.
Hello ladies I have a question do I buy the same amount of mohair as the yarn I'm crocheting a sweater it's the first time using mohair thank you have a Blessed day
Hi Angela. I haven't made a sweater with mohair added but I would assume yes, same as the amount for your main yarn. The pattern should indicate how much you will need of both. Good luck!
I'm so sorry about your dog Liz! :( GAH! What a terrible 2023 so far. I am really pissed about it. Love you both, sending hugs your way.
I watched Schitt's Creek, all 6 seasons, 3 times!!!!

I also am a spring hater. I have not found another who is. So glad I am not alone. 😂
