been a schwab fan for years. BE CAREFUL when in foreign countries - with those atm machines always hit NO to any question asking you to check your balance or convert currency. you will get hit with fees that schwab WILL NOT refund those fees that can be $15 what a scam.

You mention some of the caveats to the fee refunds - do they refund all ATM fees, or just out-of-network withdrawal fees? Every ATM around me in the US wants to charge you $3.95 “service fee” to withdraw, and then if the ATM isn’t in your banks service network, there’s an additional “out-of-network” fee.

Schwab has no atms, so no out of network fee when using schwab card. Ive been using it for 3 years no problem if you avoid what I mentioned above during foreign travel

Do you still have both and do you recommend having both. I have the Fidelity Cash management Account so far.

I do still have both! I like using both Charles Schwab and Fidelity for different purposes. Don't _need_ both, but ultimately it's a personal choice (and to be frank I don't want to go through the effort of transferring different accounts over).
I absolutely recommend the debit card and checking account to those looking for those - you don't ever need to touch the investing account (but it's there if you ever want to).

Does Schwab refund all ATM fees for any ATM (so that withdrawing $20 only costs $20) or does it just refund the ATM out-of-network fees such that you still have to pay the ATM service fee such that withdrawing $20 costs $23.95?

so if you take 20 cash out of the atm but they charge 3.00 fee you will be charged 23.00 then at the end of the month you will get the 3.00 back into your account.
