Got a G19X about 2 months ago, I also was late to the game, but after putting around 400 rounds through it I was "blown away" by the balance of this fine weapon. Great gun and thanks for the video.
Bought the 19X and is my first Glock, I like it well enough ,you get a nice overall package with the 19X , I purchased an O- Lite Lazer with charging base . This gun grows on you the more you handle it, I've come to appreciate it quality and versitility.
I happen to have my 19x sitting next to me as I watch this video. I love it, took it to a training class, and ran about 800 rounds with dirty mags that were dropped in the dirt with zero problems.
Being a left handed shooter, the complete ambidextrous controls sold me. The color is not just cool, it’s cooler in the heat due to it not being black. The marksman barrel, metal night sights and two pin configuration is spot on. Not the first Glock I shot, but the first Glock I bought. I now own 2. One is upgraded, trigger, trigger arm, colored controls. One is stock. I have a slide with a reverse dove tail, red dot and suppressor height sights for a suppressor. Running a Banish 45. I think the government made a mistake not taking this unit on. But….thanks from the civilian sector! Stay Vigilant Patriots! ShadowWalker71
I have the G45, the stepbrother of the G19X and it's a fantastic pistol! It's too large for me to carry on a daily basis, but it serves as my coffee table/nightstand gun and it's perfect in that roll! It shoots great, really accurate and it just works!
Been pocket carrying a Glock G45 with a + 3 extension (21 rounds total) and a Holosun red dot in 5.11 pants for several years, with a 20 round backup mag as well.
I edc my 19 X. You can Def wdc them with a good slin line holster, especially with a retention claw.. G45 is same exact pistol pretty much. The color and the 45 has front serrations but no night sights like the X. They are the best SHTF pistols around

It is my favorite pistol by far and I have had 2 really nice 1911’s which have been sold. Only pistol I own now is my 19x. My gen iii 17 was amazing for 10 years. Finally retired it for the 19x. Love it! Don’t need no walther or hk or anything else. No 1911’s even come close.
Fantastic firearm. I had to put flat trigger in mine. It is the only Glock out of 6 I own to pinch a little in between housing and trigger. I believe it’s a Lantac I don’t ever mod glocks normally.
You know the lanyard loop will just pop out, you can always put it back in if you decide to go horse back riding or scuba diving with the gun. That's really the only time lanyards are used.
I don' understand the choice of a G19X for CCW. You can buy a G19 and you can use a G17 magazine with a magazine adapter, so you have basically the same gun, with the option to have a shorter grip if needed.
Exaclty the same, IMO, only the G19 has more vesatility.. BTW, the concept of a full size grip and a compact slide is nothing new, look, for example, at the Colt Commander. I've shot several pistols of this kind, includig the 19X, I also own an XDM 3.8 cal 9mm with the full size grip, and there is really nothing "magic" in these kind of guns, expecially for somebody with small hands (like myself). I actually prefer the G19 grip, that fits my hand perfectly, rather than the grip of the G17 or the one of the G19X.
Why does that metal protruding rail by the firing pin stick out crooked? My new 19x has the same and I’m a newbie so sorry for the “metal thing” terminology
Question for my Glock buddies. How often do you opt to feel the loaded chamber indicator vs press checking or visually inspecting your chamber? Opinions?
As much as I like the 19x,.they don't fly off the shelves in Ohio, KY & Indiana. Target world, multiple point blank locations, Cabelas, bass pro, Dunhams, & many other gun stores have the 19x everyday all day & have had it for at least for the last year & a 1/2.
I have a Glock 19 Gen 5 MOS and I added an oem Glock threaded barrel to it. It adds an extra half inch which makes the barrel length the same barrel length as the Glock 17.
Not that much diff site rad in both 17 /19x as for a 19/17 the 19x is there best Glock made best both worlds it beat as a combat gun all Glocks as for quality Taurus is no we're close honest Glocks run man the 19 x u got a winner a 43x greatness good to 19 x 17 frame /19 slide is the winner out there best for me I tell you balanced perfit shoots great a war gun it is shf I grab a Glock 19x. And I be in the best hands out there the will bring u home go Glock made USA. Same as stamped Australia no different at all made in same machine s here

The 19x was my first Glock liked it so much went and got the Glock 45, the updated version of the 19x and it is now my go to for everything
