I've Ford Figo 2012, everytime I took on road it takes 1000s of rupees for service etc. Lot of issues especially doors and engine related

Short story : my dad was in market looking for a car , after sometime we finalized ford ecosport , i20 and ertiga (talking about 2016) (also these choices may seem odd but they were all in same price bracket also my family has 6 members) . My dad decided and bought ertiga zdi . (Also the family pressure of buying a maruti) Because of interaction with all these dealerships , they used to contact us daily . So he informed Hyundai dealership that we have purchased a ertiga , there response was " sir you literally bought a taxi our premium hatchback " and so rude the he hanged up the call , while informing ford dealership the response was " sir that's a great car too hope you have great experience with that car " . There was no negative words from ford . At that point my dad decided his next car will be a ford
Edit - a car is one of biggest investment made by any person in his life , different people have different choices learn to respect them . Every car is good at its own league

When i was gng for taking test drives of Ecosport, Venue, XUV 3oo, Nexon in feb 2021, i took ES testdrive and SA was asking if we gng to book now, i said, i have to take test drive of Venue also, Hyundai showroom was 100mtrs far. He said, let me call Hyundai SA you go and directly meet her and she will assist you and he called her infront of me, i was surprised, how he can let go a potential customer...but thats what Ford is or.....was

It really happens with ford. I stay in Vijayawada and during my recent visit to Kerala, I thought of doing my second servicing of my ecosport. Called up kairali ford, fixed an appointment. They picked up my vehicle at my door steps and delivered in the evening. Hats off....🙏🙏👍

You need a comeback ! Don't make mistakes like you made before please.
1. Understand the need of Indian market
2. Be strong and on point with your surveys
3. Working on concept, projection and result of it to launch in the market shouldn't be outgoing
4. Launch your own portfolio of various car segments in Indian market asap !
5. Don't waste time or money much into modifying same product for years. To Update & To Upgrade is 2 different words which as a customer we should feel.
6. COMEBACK! I feel sad seeing other rivals doing good which is good for them but currently they are enjoying dessert from our plate too !

Learnt how to drive in a Ford Figo. The 2011 diesel engine was something else for a newbie. Even after 10 years the engine and gearbox are as good as new.

Remember when my dad's boss purchased a ford icon in black color. We were staying in Dhanbad back then and the nearest dealership was in Calcutta. Uncle was from Calcutta so it was all fine to him. I still remember the first time I saw it. Was on my to grocery shopping with my dad, in a early winter morning. Saw it parked outside the lane of his house, and man!!!! What a car it was✨. Telling that Ford Ikon wasn't my introduction of sedans would be such a lie ❤️. So many memories from a car, which wasn't even ours 😊. Tells a lot about the love we shared towards those models
Past 2 years, I wanted my first car to be Ford, after driving my Uncle's Ecosport. Unfortunately, you left India. I didn't bought the car yet because of some reasons.
Next year, I'm moving to Canada, I hope I will buy my first car in Canada and that should be Ford. I'm coming, let's push the throttle.

Last Month i went to Get my Ecosport Titanium 2021 BS6 serviced.... I was amazed to see the level of commitment and amount of respect they have for their customers, Ford should make a come back and this time with a proper product portfolio and I am so sure what we as indians like in ford it will really catch up v soon... Have never owned one, but have gotten into. Ford Figo, Classic, ecosport and icon. Very good cars. No jerking at all.

When the new Ford Bronco was revealed we thought If it made it to the Indian shores we will definitely buy it and then this news came that Ford has stopped sale of cars in India. They could have stayed and studied the Indian market like Tata or Hyundai. People have started opting for other brands apart from Maruti and a few good products could have helped Ford become profitable. Hope they come back again in the future
