Ford didn't took Indian market seriously1) they failed to update their cars
2)they didn't launched any new vehicle for many years
They could have launched ford bronco, ford expedition, ford edge, ford raptor and the legendary Ford Mustang. But they didn't launched it that's why they failed
They did launch the Mustang in 2018
Also they cud have atleast focused on proper pricing as they were imported , the prices skyrocketed
They could also launch Ford Explorer too .

There was a beauty among the rest of the ordinary Ford cars we got here and that was the Global Fiesta..
Owners would agree with me that the car was a class apart compared to other Ford cars.

They made us feel India is so cursed to not deserve these cars😒😏. We have all mediocre vehicles from potential brands like toyota, isuzu and ford left us without actually bringing in their best cars. What did they expect having models like figo and ecosport. One endeavor wont do🤦♂️

But isuzu is not selling much like hundai or tata
Isuzu doesn't even sell all of their cars in india it sells only 2 models .
I mean even if they introduced those models of cars, only a handful will be sold. Our taxation system is such that it discourages such cars to be sold here in India.

I use to work at this very showroom. The F350 XL is a Fleet spec diesel engine automatic for company purchase. The XL means it's basic.

Well ford had some good global cars in like the endeavour,fusion,mustang but hardly few understood thier real potential

Faisal, what you thought of as the Endeavour pick up truck were all different models actually Ranger, Ranger Raptor, F150, F350, etc. And unfortunately we wouldn't get to see any of these models in India.

Ford 350 4x4 is something which should have been introduced in the Indian market with customisation options as pickup or passenger SUV. Could have added hardtop at the back with 2 more rows of seats making it a 11 seater with good amount of boot capacity.
It could have created its own new segment of SUV XL

Ford is the only company that gave heart and soul in there cars. But in India. They failed massively. Only they couldn't cope up with consumer demand and technological changes with no varients to offer.
