I want you to know that since I began practicing your hip stretching routines, I have experienced a significant improvement in proprioception in that area, which I don’t remember having before. This enhanced awareness has given me greater control over my hip movements and positioning during Wushu practice. I am getting closer to achieving the splits, but what truly brings me joy is how you have helped me connect more consciously with my breathing and muscles. My meditation and mindfulness skills have also improved dramatically. Great class! The cueing was great and just a lovely practice with enough gradual warm up tp some stronger poses. I am going to be using this play list for the next 16 days!
This yoga class was a real inspiration for me. I waited a few days, due to knee tendonitis, but it was a real pleasure to do it. I didn't think I would be able to improve my mobility this much. Obviously I still have a long way to go to open my hips and stretch my body and back well, but if I think about my initial condition, I'm proud of the journey I've made so far. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the work you have published on TH-cam. 🙏 Namaste

In addition, thank you for the info and knowledge about the psoas! I believe this was the missing piece of information I needed to better understand how to relieve the tension that accumulates in this area due to menstrual cramps. I knew that stretches in the hip flexor region helped loosen some of that stuck energy that made my cramps worse, but now having more of an articulation and understanding of the connecting muscles there is extremely beneficial for my ability to naturally relieve and soothe my pain. Thank you!
Such a thoughtful yoga flow, with all the anatomy knowledge backing up the movement! I appreciate the warm up (especially for the wrists) before heading in the Vinyasa, as well as the core tipping session which is in much need. Thank you very much!
Love this class, perfect slow pace for my energy today. In a few videos I’ve heard you say that the psoas connects from the spine to the inner femur of the opposite leg…it connects to the inner femur of the same leg. Not sure if you misspoke or misunderstood. ❤

Loved the full length session Kate. It was great to get one in after a week of not much time and doing shorter 20min flows before starting my day. You’re on point with the anatomy lesson 🙏🙏🙏
I absolutely loved this class! You hit on so many of my favorite poses and - to this day - I still do trikonasana as if "my body is between two panes of glass". The nerd-out on the psoas muscle was very well-done, as we all need to stretch that one. It's actually the first muscle many chiropractors and other body workers focus on because of its impact on the rest of our body. And I did Plow for my "yogi's choice" pose.
That's right your my pigeon pose bestie! We both like that one. And with triko I try to stay away from the verbiage 'between 2 planes of glass'. While I love that cue and it helped me 'get' triko in earlier years, it's considered not trauma-informed now - which I recently learned so I've been trying to weave it out, respectfully! Good choice with plow. Perfect counter pose to the rest class. 👍

Kate this was a fantastic flow to go along with your splits playlist. Going through that playlist this past week has gotten me to successfully get my front leg parallel with the front edge of the mat during pigeon pose - which has been quite the elusive goal of mine! Thanks for sharing sharing this one, I’ll definitely be revisiting it.
