I am using 16 inch Commercial Electric fans from Home Depot in my horse barn this summer. I usually run on level 2 in the stall. Isn't too loud & moves the air well 10 feet away for horses. I'm buying more today, so can have 3 of them. -- The 8 inch is nice for a personal fan to cool off after yard work for me. I've thought about a larger one, so thanks for the review.
I just bought the small 16 but i think im going to cancel and order this one for my garage. The central valley here in California summertime gets to about 💯 degree. This is what i need. Thanks for posting! 👍🏼
I bought one of these from Home Depot and returned it the next day. I could feel more air movement from a $30 pedestal fan i bought from Walmart at the end of my garage. I ended buying the 16 in version of this and it's like an air cannon. I can feel air movement over 10 ft outside my garage. I don't think the 24 in is worth the extra money and the wattage is over 300 on high compared to 160 on high for the 16 in version.
Hey man this is great; I really appreciate your observation about how you think it's just a rebranded Maxx Air. I was actually wondering if this might be the case and your observation would seem to confirm it. Since I saw that Maxx Air was really popular and well-liked on Amazon I feel more comfortable getting this thing from Home Depot now. Thanks again!
No, although I don't believe it has brushes, it is more like an induction ceiling fan. The on/off switch might be the biggest danger. It is not rated explosion proof. Cartels may run at their own risk tolerance and experience level dispite this.
First comment I got a question for you is it to loud for indoor use like apartment complex use I would use this to push ac cool air from one room to another room? and when I say noise I really mean do you think people who live bellow me will hear or feel vibrations of that fan ?
I cannot see this fan as being a problem for any apartment neighbors other than the lack of being able to borrow it. The fan is smooth and balanced well, the noise is manageable on low, but very loud on high. When the fan is on low, the TV has to be at a volume of 40 out of 100 to understand speech. With the fan on high the TV has to be all the way up. Low speed is 250 watts and high is 310, but the difference in noise and air movement is immense. First comment pays a dollar, send your paypal info and I'll pay up.
I almost got the harbor freight version cos they're same price, but I'm getting this one because I'm a semi-pro home mechanic in hot Houston and sometimes working on the floor or standing over engine bay so I need the swivel feature for sure.
hostilityy yeah it’s a great fan scared my cat for a week, it’s amazingly powerful and the ease of moving it makes it even I added it to my list for Black Friday and cyber Monday list for when hopefully I can find it at a discount and buy 2 more
WE use a 16 inch version on level 2 most of the time, which helps move air in the house. Plus put some out for our horses at the barn (3 of them right now). -- We've also used 8 inch version, but it isn't as powerful. Makes for a nice personal fan though.
that's funny you'd even pay to put the max air logo on, or $10 more for it. the current logo i actually dislike enough NOT to buy it. looks cheesy and loud....

Between the fan, a mist kit, and air conditioner, you should be safe I think.
geostomp - I appreciate it bro! Thanks!
Depends on your distance from the fan. Anything more than like 9ft outdoors and that 16inch fan is a joke.

Kenny Potts - i actually kept the 16 inch as soon as we plug it in the outlet. It was the best of the two fans plus its quiet.

Well they both may be rebrands after all. The economies of scale have produced an air mover that I am enjoying even at the moment of this writing.
you can hear the air blasting out, can't wait to get my 24 from BE equipment hooo mama
How do you like it
How you like it?
Did you have an issue that when you put it right against the wall, it gets quieter and almost no air flow is generated, even at high speed?
Yeah, but I replaced that one with this 24" box fan. I use a speed control and often it is on low.
are you saying there is some kind of variable speed control I can get for mine
Is this explosion proff can i spray solvent paint in doors with

amazing video
Glad you think so!
There are so much fans like this from other brands...
Buy one, put your name on it, and be the next brand.
How’s this thing runnin?
Still working perfect. I use the 15 amp speed control on about 80% and flip from low to high on the back of the fan for two handy settings.
No me enciende que le paso y cómo lo reparo
Awesome!
LOVE IT

It has a grounded plug. Odd that it malfunctioned.
