Hey have u not seen the video on TH-cam? Dipyourcar did an awesome job on a mustang with a hypershift powder that looks unbelievable!! I just bought some to do a couple motorcycles. Only thing is they used 8LAYERS OF PEEL PAINT FOR THE BASE. I have written them to ask how exactly they did and why so I can try the same. Lmk what u think
@SurRonBurgundy I did see the Dipyourcar video but they spray their cars differently with a different sprayer and other stuff. Another guy on TH-cam named "Marko" sprayed his Hummer and it came out great but when he got tired of it he washed it off with the pressure washer so I guess it doesn't stick very well. There has to be a way though... I have a convertible Camaro and I'm going to paint the top black with the black 4.0 cuz there's spots damaged by the sun, hopefully it comes out sick.
@ oh and he didn’t prep the surface at all and butchered the paint job. That’s the main reason it came off… there was no primer or base. Since that paint is “designed” for art style paint it wasn’t just meant for automotive. But if there’s a will, there’s a way.
It would be nice to see both paints most white and most black on one 3D object. Like a zebra 🦓😁 And hope there will be some interesting optical illusion. Or probably paint any actual illusion and find out will it have more "strength" to effect PS: According to compare benchmark tests on another TH-cam channels Black 4.0 is not the blackest. Musou Black is. However it is toxic and harder to work with.
Love this paint but shaking the bottle is NOT enough. It sounds as if it’s mixing but it is very very pigment heavy and it is half solid in the bottom of the bottle. You need to actually use a chopstick or similar to make sure you scrape it off the bottom and sides of the bottle then stir it well … then shake the bottle . The 4.0 is even more solid
Hey there :) Here's another helpful tip if you get a stubborn bottle or one that's been sat on the shelf for a bit. Pop a couple of smallish (clean) pebbles inside the bottle and THEN give it a nice violent shaking. That really helps to get it moving.

THERE ARE TONS OF PEOPLE WITH UNFULFILLED ORDERS RIGHT NOW. DON'T TAKE PEOPLES MONEY IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE PRODUCTS!
I ordered a gallon of this in October and still haven't received it. I just get emails back saying it could take two weeks to get a response since they are a small company. Looked on their website and it says it could take 3 months to get your order. That means I have to wait until January to even try to go to my bank over it. Really hoping I haven't lost $800.
@@SurRonBurgundy My order came in this past Tuesday, well, 3 of the 4 bottles I ordered. It's enough to at least get the job done but the order is incomplete. I wouldn't buy from them unless you like playing Russian roulette. As far as the product, it's pretty good. It's not as black as I thought it would be, but it's the blackest paint I have found thus far. However, don't expect it to be the blackest black you have ever seen. I compared it with a coat I had in the closet and the coat is actually darker than this color. Though, I will say the velvety matte finish is quite nice.
Wish you'd zoom in on the other finished items too, like the 4 and the bear
I have a project and I wanted to get an idea of how much product I’d need
I'd like to get this in automotive paint
And crash because people won't see you. Don't do it.
What would be the proper way to prepare a car to be painted with black 4.0?

@SurRonBurgundy I definitely agree, we gotta find out how to put it on a car, permanently and nice.
What size is your freestyle brush?

finally.
How do you use these to *paint over melamine*❓ I mean gawdawful melamine furniture….
That would be a mistake. The paint isn't hard enough to paint furniture with. It will scar pretty easily leaving noticeable streaks and scars.

@@JRS-j9m You didn't "lose" $800. You paid $800 to discover a scam. However, you'll probably get it eventually. Lesson learned.
