On a more serious note though, a great explanation of the fact that most amateur golfers are 'deluded' (me too, lol) in thinking that their practice swing is perfect when you know it probably isn't. I bet it's hard not to laugh at some of the things you see, but once again you've provided a thought provoking video and really simple advice to help golfers improve. I really like the comment about 'go to any tour event and you see all the guys doing this'. Thanks Mike, Shaun.

Bingo Shaun If the left wrist is cupped at the bottom you will block with that lead arm When the back of the left hand is in the supinated position, the left arm is already beginning to rotate. Clearing the lead hip also promotes the back of the left hand getting in that good position. If the golfer stalls over the lead leg, the lead arm rotation stops. Great stuff guys!

What camera and settings do you recommend to get the data you need to see impact with face at impact?
You'll need a very high frame rate with the shutter speed set to max, and then you're going to need a ton of light - high noon type light.
Practice swing perfect divot. Actually swing, chunked fat shot 😣
