Really educative ❤
Thank you 💯
When we are calculating the external.. Don't we subtract the footing which is 675 from the perimeter of the building?
It depends on how you choose to calculate yours
I used the centerline x the footing x the depth of the foundation
Which would give me the total volume of excavation
However,
I forgot deduct for the excess at the T - junctions
(But it’s better to very slightly over measure than to under measure)
It really helps me
You’ll become better at it in no time!! 💪🏾🥂💯 just keep practicing with different plans
educative
@quantitysurveyworkshop
Thank you very much, pls with what i have been taught in schools after calculating the girth you'll still count the number of T-junctions and multiply it by 225 then you minus the answer with the girth that will then be the true girth but is it necessary to calculate for T-junctions or i can just work the girth directly ,pls i need your answer cause am a little confused 😢
T junctions and girth do not really have any relationship. However, deductions of T junctions are important when measuring the trench excavations.
I wanted adding it to the video but it might get confusing! So I just needed the viewers to have an understanding first. Them subsequently we’ll measure for everything (including the squaring column)
❤
You made it really easy to understand. Great explanation. Thank you 👏
