The crazy part is we know Webb has to put in so much more work but he takes it a step further with sauce and hella pressure. Though it takes a lot to get a little, no one likes to get hit that much. You can say the same for Needles and Webb JP uses this influence to his advantage along with shmovement.

@@TwinHacari The karma of overconfidence, top 8 isn't what makes the "best player in the world", it's consistent 1st and 2nd placements. Zomba flexed a muscle that wasn't there and fell off for it
The difficulty for sheik is doing the right combos at the right time. To put it another way, performing the optimal combo routes when they are optimal is the difficult part. It's all in the decision making.
This is part of it. But I feel like it deemphasizes that the combos are just damn hard. (Also, choosing when to use which combos is a pretty regular thing in fighting games and top players tend to have their own preferences, so it’s hard to say “optimal” in any legitimate sense)
LETS FKING GOOOOOOOOOOO... this neutral was sooo good at the end, that run through the entire stage got the win 100% I think that webb didnt realize that zomba wasnt respecting needles in a lot of situations. If he just let them rock (specially at ledge and ledge traps) he wouldve got a lot of kills.... but maybe he was saving it for that last stock (even though he unfortunately dropped it)

But then it stops being a question of the character and becomes about the player. So yea it depends.
I think Webb single handedly shows the potential of a good sheik player. Sheik struggles with kill power and is quite light himself but Webb completely abused sheiks strengths and shows that with a good player sheik can be a competitive monster
I've played people like Zomba at locals and it just bringa down the energy of the entire room tbh. Others allow people like this to get away with their shitty behavior. An "L" will sober someone like this up real quick.

When you use bouncing fish you can angle the stick left or right to adjust the distance variably.
