A friend of mine and me would always get to such close last stock situations. He won significantly more than me, but it was always so close. The overall win rate just doesn’t show how close things can really be. This is for sure one of those examples. Hahaha
I often think about the level of technique needed to succeed with SU Shiek as compared to the technicality required by melee top teirs. The thing is in Melee you need to know like 5 or 6 matchups really well, whereas in Ultimate there are like 40 relevant characters with different attributes, kill percents, combo windows etc. I hope Webb and Void etc can prove that Sheik can be top teir in practice in Ultimate but damn if they dont have a mountain to climb

Sometimes I wonder which character is better between these two. Sheik seems like the obvious choice just because her ceiling is obviously much higher, she just has options Zero Suit doesn't. But then again, being able to kill with a bair at the ledge at 90% with ZSS does feel super gratifying.
ZSS is more consistent, Sheik is "technically" better but it all frame data, ZSS has more mix up and killing power, I don't even know how people kill as Sheik (clearly you just hit people until they give up or something 😂)
@@raven-aas a PR in my region sheik who switched to ZSS, killing is easier as sheik when your opponent is good. She has a million kill options while ZSS only has a few really good ones. When your opponent turtles and you’re ZSS you just have to dance around their shield and try not to get predictable or risk getting parried while never accidentally doing anything unsafe
This was an awesome matchup of characters and players! If I had to pick before the set I would probably say Webb pulls out a close one but clearly that wasn’t the case lol pretty impressive set from Marss!

When ZSS is not on her BS, Mars is able to shut down anyone's game plan. And he's able to think on the fly while others struggle against the constant adaptation / mind games.

Those frames didn't do much on Nair. This is the nature of ZSS vs sheik. You get stuffed out by literally every normal sheik has. You have to stay out of her burst range to play the game.
