We watched the show regarding Terrell Texas. The show did not even touch the history of the building. The ground floor was a "dry good" store back in the '60s; the hospital was 2nd and 3rd floor my grandmother worked there as a nurse for many years; on the fourth floor, there were several attorneys that officed there; one was if I am not mistaken the first female attorney in Kaufman County and then the attorney that my mother worked for Mr. Frank King who earned his degree from SMU, passed the Bar in 1948 and he was a survivor of Polio. He worked from his wheel chair and attend court with the assistance of his driver and my mother. There is so much more history to the building then you shared. You should have contacted someone other then an kid that knows about the building.
When I traveled with my parents in the early 80s, we actually cooked out on those grills when we'd stop in the old school roadside rest areas.

Those were light bulb sockets in that cubby hole. They are for screw in fuses.
The "Fire Pit" was actually a well.
What happened to the Longview section? And did you skip Hallsville?

The "Lightbulbs" would actually have been fuses.
