the gist was he telling his descendent Decepticons (in this case the Predacons) to use the transwarp tech to go back to prehistoric times while the Autobots and Decepticons laid in stasis from their crashlanding to Earth on the Ark...he gave the location of the Ark and told them to murder the still in stasis Optimus Prime before he could awaken and was confident without him the Autobots would lose the war...of course this message was before Megatron becomes Galvatron...so he couldn't factor in, if you kill Optimus and destroy the Matrix of Leadership, NOTHING can stop Unicron...so in short Megatron's plan would doom the future for the Decepticons anyway...lol
@@Avalon64 That’s likely why Beast-Megatron was hesitant to carry out the original Megatron’s instructions. He only did so as a last resort. (He was losing the Beast Wars) “the ultimate risk for the ultimate price!”
@@henkman00 agreed, that it was a last resort, it was pretty much outright stated the reason Beast Megatron took so long commencing this plan was due to the temptation of gathering raw energon for himself and going back and conquering Cybertron that way...but I am not too sure how much of the history of Unicron the Maximals and PRedacons are aware of...they obviously know OF Unicron...since the Vok appeared to Primal as Unicron and Megatron calls Tarantulus "spawn of Unicron"...but was Beast Megatron aware the Matrix was the ONLY thing to kill Unicron? That I am not too sure, I am sure in their history they are only aware the Autobots killed Unicron somehow but not the method of how they did it, which is why I think Beast Megatron wasn't aware how much he was dooming his own future killing Optimus Prime since the Matrix was THAT essential to the future for everyone...also funfact the writers of Beast Wars didn't know the Matrix of Leadership was a whole different artifact...which is why they depicted it as the container to Optimus Prime's spark on Beast Wars which many fans tell you is a HUGE error lol
@@stainshield yup I like to think if Beast Megatron's plan had worked, and while he was gloating that Primal no longer existed and he was being wiped out...shortly AFTER he would start disappearing since in the changed future, Megatron could do nothing against Unicron and as a result Cybertron is gone since Unicron devoured it...the only survivors would be the descendants of Unicron which was established the Tripredacus council and Tarantulus...
