Hey Evan may I ask, how does it compare to the TA2 car in levels of ease to drive? For instance TA2 cars have no ABS or Traction Control and little aero, where the GT3 has all of these things. So do you feel like you can push harder in something like this? Or does the simplicity of the TA2 car make it easier to drive? I currently drive a TA2 in SCCA so I’m curious.
This car was definitely significantly easier… ta2 cars feel like a axe, and this car is a scalpel. The abs and tc make the braking and accelerating much simpler, without having to worry about lockups or wheel spin. This car’s tire and suspension package is also night and day different, so that makes it handle the bumps way better. The only thing that makes this car more difficult was the fact that it costs almost 10x what a ta2 does, so I really didn’t want to make a mistake…

Great footage of an awesome car - that looks like it came straight from Bathurst... How accurately do you think the camera captured the engine and gearbox sound?
@@evanslater6Just as well there’s only 2 places on the lap it’s briefly in 6th. Daytona banking would probably be pretty hard on the ears… Thanks for the reply.
Just corrections to hold the car… We didn’t have enough rear wing angle, so the back of the car was a little unsettled. This car has electric power steering, so the wheel was actually pretty light…

Pretty accurately… When you’re in 6th gear you basically can’t hear the motor anymore lol
