I went down to Rushsylvania, Ohio to meet up with Jason to go for a test run on a trike. He was interested in riding a recumbent trike and it went great. check out his channel / channel
Thank you again for coming down. I wish I could express better how riding a recumbent trike made feel free of parkinson's and escape the pain and difficulty from parkinson's. Can't wait till I can save up enough money to buy a recumbent trike so we can go riding again.
Are you a veteran by chance? If so the VA can help you get one. Depending on your particular VA, some use a recreational therapist, others use their physical therapist. If not a Veteran, reach out to WWP Adaptive Sports in Delaware, Ohio
@@ChappyTrails no I'm not a veteran but my late father-in-law was a marine both my son-in-laws were in the service. I would like to thank all the service men and women who have and are currently serving this great country. Thank you for the information.
I’ll do some research and find some adaptive equipment folks in your area. Perhaps we can get you in contact with some local programs that may be able to assist.
It apoears that a new friendship has been formed. Thank you for offering your extra trike for him to try... I agree when he mentioned that a recumbent trike gives those of us with mobility issues the freedom of movement. Keep on Triking!
This was an awesome video. Sharing a trike ride to help someone explore the possibility of continuing to ride was a wonderful display of caring about others. I am glad he found a way that he could continue to get out and about and keep healthy in the process. You are a true ambassador for triking.
Hello Hello From Victoria Canada!!! I really liked you the first time I watched an episode because you just seemed like someone I would stop and chat with. That was such a nice thing for you to do for Jason and spending such a relaxing trip with him through his town as he gave you the "Tour". Hopefully he will get his own ride going. I was disabled in a motorcycle accident and 30 years later I was in a car accident and hit my head on the seat belt pillar so that made driving difficult. I like recommending your channel because you seem like a real down to earth person and are inspiring me to get out and ride my EZ-TAD-SX. Keep up the awesome content. Stay safe, healthy and as happy as you can be. 🤘😁👍
Thank you. If we cross paths we could sure sit down and have a chat. Sorry to hear you're disabled Glad you're able to get out and ride. That makes life so much better and you can get out in the fresh air and do something. I took that bike down to Jason a few weeks later and he has been riding it. Please subscribe to his channel if you have not he is out making the best of it. I have been busy installing a walk-in bathtub for my stepfather. He's in his late '90s so having a hard time finding time to make videos and ride at the moment. I hope to get back to it soon.
Nice video of you helping out another man who is parkinsons challenged. The music is very soothing, also. I’m wondering what rack you are using on the back of your vehicle enabling you to carry two recumbent trikes, one inside, and one outside. I’m facing a similar situation as both me and my wife ride, and how to transport the future recumbents. We ride central OH trails. 😎

You are welcome. Glad you enjoyed the ride. Hopefully we can go riding again.
There is a sunseeker trike on fb market for 250 located in Washington township right now
