    Love that bunker! What are you charging for a full cord?

      Thanks Mike! It sure makes it easier. Im in Mid Missouri and Im getting $200 for a full cord delivered within 20 miles. I know in other States they get way more than that but here Im one of the most expensive firewood guys. Thanks for watching Mike Take Care !!!

    To slow it down you just need to change the large pulley to a 14" one. Your engine one can also be reduced in size. That is a grain elevator so it has the pan on the bottom to catch grain. You can cut 3' of the bottom section out and a little at the top and that should stop your jams. I assume that due to the speed of your conveyor and your short flap at the bottom that a paddle flipped the flap up and allowed a piece to fall it. Seldom do they catch at the top unless you stack to the top. I use a longer rubber flap at the bottom. And good job on securing people who want green wood.

    Heck ya! Can’t believe you found another one so quick. I’ve been looking for quite awhile now with no luck. Your buddy did a great job on the thing. I’d insert a pipe in the end of that other one that those weights could slide onto and call it good. Take care Don!👍🏻

    looks like that conveyor don't need to spin as fast, maybe need a smaller engine or run it slower for smaller fuel consumption and risk of harm but eh what do i know (would be safer to also install a kill switch next to you to turn it off asap)

    • @outdoorswiththisguy1950
      @outdoorswiththisguy1950  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Ya it runs a little faster than id like but when I idle it down it doesnt have enough power to run it when its loaded up with wood. I do like the idea of a close by kill switch. Thanks for your input. Take Care !!!

    New tonyou firewood is nice. One of the nicest old corn conveyor i have seen. Ours around here are all rusted out. Nice work and firewood bunker. I think more and more are starting to use there fireplaces or gotten stoves put in. You can buy alot of firewood for a few grand of propane. Luckily you got people want to season their own wood. Great video!

      Thanks Craig, Ya this one is in pretty darn good shape. Firewood is flying out right now, alot of people are thinking ahead and there are also alot of people around here who does not want seasoned wood, they want fresh green cut wood for their outdoor wood boilers. Witch is fine with me to sell them as long as they know what they are getting! Take Care Craig !!!

      Yes indeed! That is awesome! If more people would get it green it woukd allow more time for he avg firewood person to eun a small business.. i like to cut between October and February, but that is not sustainable because of all the people wanting their deliveries at that time. Nice setup.

      Thanks Rick. Selling green wood sure helps to make some money back quicker, however I sure wish I had more seasoned firewood to sell. Iv been turning down 3-4 orders for seasoned wood a week cause I sold out back in September. Take Care Rick !!!
