I much preferred Robot Chicken's Star Wars special to Family Guy's. Star Wars parodies have been done to death. I like how, with Robot Chicken, they (for the most part) never betrayed what George Lucas has established over the course of 6 films. Instead, their approach was to take a more behind-the-scenes look at the Star Wars universe by following main and side characters and telling key scenes from their perspective, giving it a fun, funny spin, without contradicting the story. Of course, the call between Darth Vader and Emperor Palatine was classic, but equally funny were Boba Fett's stories about how he jumped into the Sarlacc pit, the extended and awkward dinner scene with Vader and Lando and the silly channel flips of the janitor who has to sweep up every dead body that was thrown or that had fallen during a battle. Then, of course, there were the silly pop culture references that Robot Chicken is known for. The 80s-style Admiral Ackbar Cereal commercial (your tongues can't repel flavor of this magnitude), the Muppet Show-style musical numbers featuring York, the Real person/character Geico ads, etc. I enjoyed the way it was presented. Not as a shot for shot parody or with characters substituting other characters, but as the characters representing themselves, but with a twist.
I'm so glad I am seeing Star Wars in the mainstream again because of the new upcoming trilogy. I feel like im in the 90's again waiting for the prequels.
Providencenl Are you serious? George Lucas at least did the first trilogy right. By first, I mean the second....4,5 and 6. Episode VII has fucking Disney. If they don't do it right, I'm going to kill them all for destroying Star Wars for good.
Phineas and Ferb is my favorite. Robot Chicken and Family Guy made fantastic parodies, but Phineas and Ferb did something completely different with the idea of a Star Wars episode. Also, that lightsaber battle, the scene with Isabella and Han Solo, the "who shot first?" joke, and a ton of other stuff. It's totally unique and AWESOME.
7:56 According to Dan Povenmire the first thing he did when he heard that Disney bought Lucas Film was to sketch Doofenshmirtz as Darth Vader and send it to his producer with the caption “I smell crossover”. So “Jumped at the opportunity” is very accurate.
I can't help but feel that people criticize Phineas and Ferb: Star Wars just because it's from a Disney show. It's kind of sad, people assume something is bad just because it's Disney. But it's good guys. It's good.
ajmrowland I don't know, Doofenshmirtz adds so much to the show that I wouldn't call it flavorless. I agree that it's a bit plain, but it has enough charm to make it good. That's what I think, at least.
Star Wars is always best on the big screen. I was 6 in May of 77 when Star Wars first came out. My mom and dad took me and my sister to see it. Seeing the rebel "Blockade runner" and the "Imperial star destroyer" in the beginning was totally awe inspiring.
The best part of the Family Guy Star Wars episodes were the constant bickering between Peter (Seth MacFarlane) and Chris (Seth Green, also executive producer of Robot Chicken) about Robot Chicken. Just made me laugh to realize that this could have been an actual discussion between the two when MacFarlane told Green they were planning on doing a Star Wars episode.
I don't know, Robot Chicken was so much more in-tuned to what Star Wars is about. Blue Harvest was hilarious and it attracted a broad audience, but Robot Chicken dug so much deeper into the Star Wars Universe which really helped it be spot on. They used Lucas's concept of the used universe so well. The bathroom in the At-At, the Star Wars convention, the imperial officers pretending to choke; scenes like that really showed how well they knew and loved the lore.
Star Warners, "Please Homer, Dont Hammer 'Em.", A New Hope, Phineas & Ferb: Star Wars, Robot Chicken: Star Wars, Falling Stars, "Operetion: C.A.K.E.D - F.I.V.E" & (Of course.) The Blue Harvest Trilogy.
I think the Phineas and Ferb episode should have been number one. Family Guy may have portrayed it dutifully, but Phineas and Ferb's just couldn't be surpassed. They seemed to have more fun with it. #StarWarsIsAwesome
knarrow0222 I haven't seen it, but regardless of how good it was, people in the comments would likely rage since they would perceive it as a kids show and would assume it was terrible. WatchMojo were likely conservative with it's placing to avoid that.
I love the P&F Star Wars special. It was an amazing episode. When I first started watching this video, I expected the P&F Star Wars special to not be in this top list due to the number of Star Wars fans hating on the fact that Disney acquired Star Wars, but to see it among the top 10, let alone the top 4, is a very pleasant surprise. Its a very different kind of Star Wars parody because not only did they add the Phineas and Ferb characters, they also added the Star Wars characters living in the same world. It is amazing how they manage to tie in everything into the Star Wars storyline without ruining the Star Wars movie and losing P&F's innocence.
Christine Kirby Mark Hamill was in it, and the theme was him trying out other projects after getting tired of the Luke Skywalker label. So he does musicals, pretty hilarious episode, it does spoof "The bodyguard" at one point, but in no way is it a "Star wars themed episode". Check it out, it's a good one.
These were such great episodes! I really liked the Family guy, 70s show, and Muppet show episodes! And is that Ferb turning evil at the end?! I should check that stuff out too!
Robot chickens special was better than blue harvest. I love both of them but RC's is better as an exclusive star wars spoof where as to really enjoy blue haves you have to be both a FG and a SW fan.
This list was so close to being perfect but Robot Chicken is the best because of how they're actually funny and don't make the franchise a joke and the jokes Robot Chicken do are actual jokes the fans know are true like Yeral Poof complaining Yoda and Windu are the only jedi that talk, Boba Fett escaping the Sarlacc pit and killing all the Rebels in his dreams, Darth Vader changing the deal with Lando and making him change his name, and Gary the Stormtrooper burning down Luke's family house because he was tired of walking in the sun. I hate most of humour in Family Guy's Star Wars parody and many of the characters just don't fit. Plus Robot Chicken actually got Billy Dee Williams to reprise his role as Lando! Robot Chicken Star Wars actually could work and there are many Star Wars fans that actually want Gary the Stormtrooper from Robot Chicken to be an actual Star Wars character because he was so cool! How did WatchMojo pick Family Guy over Robot Chicken when the Robot Chicken characters Star Wars fans themselves want to see in the actual Star Wars universe like Gary.
+lifeform106 Because Family Guy is explicitly better than Robot Chicken in every way possible. The Family Guy Star Wars are so much funnier that it's not even that close.
scaryazz Are you kidding me? Family guy is garbage you guys are such fanboys if you think it is good. Family Guy hasn't been good in years and there episodes are so boring plus Gary the stormtrooper Star Wars fans love far more than any family guy character same with Boba
+lifeform106 Robot chicken sucks shit. I already hated it after just watching one scene. The family guy one is funny, it does a good job summarizing the movies, and overall it is just really fun to watch.
6:26 "…even over 30 years after it aired, this bizarre crossover is still awesome, and hilarious to watch, and not nearly as uncomfortable as the holiday special…" The holiday special shouldn't even be mentioned.
Totally nailed it! Robot Chicken was great and so was Family Guy. Though I have to give the edge to Family Guy because their lines are the ones that pop into my brain when I watch SW now.
Also, Chuck the tv show didn't do a whole episode as far as I've seen, but they made plenty of Star Wars jokes and parallels throughout the series. My favorite was when Beckman tells Morgan that he's their only hope and the transmission cuts off abruptly.
People for hating Lucas, remember he was the one who created STAR WARS at the first place Original Trology was awesome but you cant hate prequels, its Star Wars you just simply cant hate STAR WARS... I say they werent perfect but they were good, its good to know what happened before the Empire and how it founded it self... Haters of prequels are bunch of kids who listen to one guy who said "Hey dudes I hate the prequels" I think we fans of Star Wars should unite and dont fight over the movies, yes I am also sad about the EU and all the awesome characters gone but what can you do now , Bomb disney or what...? Just chill out and be happy that there are new STAR WARS movies being made :=D
Great list... for me though I would of had Anamaniac's Star Wars special higher, because it has a big impact on my memories. Family Guy's for me is number 1 with Robot Chicken number 2. I also remember seeing the Muppet Show one a long time ago.
Ill agree that family guy Blue Harvest is fucking hillarious, but come on, blue harvest was made because robot chicken's versions were so funny and getting so much attention they wanted to top it, I still give robot chicken the top spot
Didn't they say it came three months after the Robot Chicken one? A Family Guy episode takes one year until completion, and that one perhaps even longer because of the effects and stuff. So if they ripped of RC on purpose, they had to have done it in the production phase and I really doubt they would do that, considering Seth Green is in their main cast and Seth McF is on Robot Chicken. They even joke about it in the episodes. Three times.
+ajmrowland Totally believe it. The writers for P&F are smarter and more clever than anyone involved with the other projects, the references are sharp instead of imbecilic... the scene with Isabella and Han Solo at the bar alone gives this one the win... and (typically) kick ass songs, especially one by Vanessa the Twi'Lek, put it over the top.
I love when Marshall said "the only people in the universe who haven't seen Star Wars are the characters in Star Wars, That because they lived them, they lived the Star Wars"
One thing missing from this list is the anime series Crayon Shin Chan parody episode Shin Wars. This episode was from was translated & localized by Funimation very well in recent years even making a reference in the scroll "Before Family Guy did it, we did it first".
The great thing about the Muppet Show Star Wars episode is that the end the show singing "When You Wish Upon a Star." Decades before Disney bought Star Wars and the Muppets.
Well deserved number one for Family Guy. Phineas and Ferb 4th? That's a good place for being the newer parody of Star Wars. To the people who didn't watch it and are insulting it, it's totally different to any other parody because in the episode the characters aren't Luke, Leia, etc, but they, in some way, are part of the story and are important to it. Many people should remember that at the beginning of the episode it clearly says "And none of this is canon, so just relax". So COME ON, calm your tits and laugh with Phineas and Ferb, also this episode it's probably the most adult of the series and never ridicule the original SW characters. Another good thing is that it doesn't use the same formula of most of the episodes, so you can't say it's repetitive. Disney, if you're gonna be this good with Star Wars, gosh, make all the movies you want. By the way, I f*cking love Animaniacs but its special wasn't that good. They tried to put the 3 movies in 20 minutes and for me it didn't have a good result.
Agreed. while I love the Robot Chicken parody. I might prefer the Family Guy one. The Robot Chicken one is basically just skit to skit while Family Guy has from begin to the end. That's just me. I always prefers to watch a show that has more of a "structure" or a storyline, not just scene to scene. As for those who hate the Phineas and Ferb one, I think that's partly due to Disney. Seeing that not only did Disney closed down the LucasArt game studio after they got the license, but they also cancelled the hyped Star Wars 1313 as well as the Clone Wars. So I might see why there's some hate. For me, seeing how the upcoming Star Wars as well as the Marvel Cinematic Universe are handled,I guess I could ease myself as long as they got the right people to work on.
KrystCyclone I agree with the Disney thing. If Phineas and Ferb would have been in another channel, like Cartoon Network or Nick, it wouldn't have so much hate. People hate it just because it's Disney. And that's curious because the same people is still going to the cinema excited to watch the new Disney's movies and they love the new Marvel ones.
Juli4427 Personally I'm glad Disney got Phineas and Ferb. It was because of them picking the show that Phineas and Ferb has become a success to this day. Cartoon Network and Nick did get a chance to pick it up, but they blew it by turning it down. Plus if it was picked up by either of these two, they would treat it badly like what Cartoon Nertwork did with Smbionic Titan and Young Justice and how Nick with Korra.
Because that wasn't really the main theme of the episode. Came in late and they didn't really parody anything from Star Wars. Awesome episode, but would not fit in here.
riksu02 That wasn't really a star wars themed episode except for Cartman's deal with Mickey Mouse. If anything, it was more about the stolen votes than the franchise
Family guy star wars parodies were fucking hillarious, it hadn't cutaways which all youdon't like and in other words it was just brilliant and without a doubt it is better than the robot chicken ones
Robot Chicken's is great and hilarious, but its not the whole movie parodied. Its random bits. Family guy's is number one because it parodies the whole thing
I also liked the kids next door episode where they spoofed the empire strikes back. They had giant school buses as ATAT's for the battle of hoth, a lightsaber duel, even those rolly droids from the prequel trilogy
For robot chicken star wars, fun fact, Carrie Fishier did some of the voice for it. I had no idea Anamincas did a star wars parody, I loved that show growing up and i have some of the dvds, but not all of them, it might be on that one... :/ the F&P parody i will also have to check out, it looks pretty funny as seeing as them being neighbors and leaving the characters be themselves instead of being played by the characters of the show is a fresh spin I'll have to highly disagree with the Family Guy being number one. while it did have some scenes, it took alot of meaningful scenes and just shit all over there. like the "I love you" "I know" or the Carbanite scene, replacing it with a fart joke.....
andrew feng after all these years, I never thought Carrie Fisher would be involved with Family Guy, come to think of it, didn't her mother die they day after she did?
so do i so I can't say much lol .....but Blue Harvest....Its a Trap and Something Something Something Darkside were hilarious...plus Fam Guy references Star Wars on regular episodes all the time..even subtley in flashbacks and cut aways.... so I agree with them being number one
you got the order pretty spot on. the fg trilogy is great but the bit you almost showed from robot chicken cracks me up every single time. "what do you mean they blew up the death star? ... who is theyyyy?!?!" just the complete surprise and disappointment in his voice when he says they just makes me lose it. and fyi - the garbage monster is a dianoga
You are right it is. All day, i was thinking about someone leaving a comment on star wars video. And then i am just about to go off line and i see this.
Thanks for spoiling the #1 spot in the thumbnail.
Typhlosion4President Your definition of spoiling something puzzles me.
Did you honestly expect something else?
***** It spoiled what was number 1.
You do realize how incredibly fucking stupid it is to complain about that right. Really, who actually cares.
I think there are times that the thumbnail was just made it to the honorable mention.
I much preferred Robot Chicken's Star Wars special to Family Guy's. Star Wars parodies have been done to death. ADMRAL AKBAR's fish sticks from the sea are amazing
I like Gary the Stormtrooper :3
u do know lucas approved of the family guy ones right?
Of course. I never implied that he didn't.
Raine Phoenix
means they didnt betray all im getting at
I'm so glad I am seeing Star Wars in the mainstream again because of the new upcoming trilogy. I feel like im in the 90's again waiting for the prequels.
I know right.
Don't say that, remember how that turned out?
Roasty this movie isnt directed by george lucas, dont worry :P
Hopefully it won't turn out as disappointing as the prequels
Providencenl Are you serious? George Lucas at least did the first trilogy right. By first, I mean the second....4,5 and 6. Episode VII has fucking Disney. If they don't do it right, I'm going to kill them all for destroying Star Wars for good.
The Simpsons Star Wars-Themed episode should have been the one with Mark Hamill.
Use the forks.
Agreed
Phineas and Ferb is my favorite. Robot Chicken and Family Guy made fantastic parodies, but Phineas and Ferb did something completely different with the idea of a Star Wars episode. Also, that lightsaber battle, the scene with Isabella and Han Solo, the "who shot first?" joke, and a ton of other stuff. It's totally unique and AWESOME.

😂
The second Star Wars themed video of the day for WMJ? Someone's excited about the new trailer released today.
Third*
It was Starwars Friday for Watchmojo
Daenerys Targaryen It sure was!
Signed,
KG
WatchMojo.com hi KG
Its out today in thw future OMG NSNNSDSKSJFJCJDLKXKC
I can't help but feel that people criticize Phineas and Ferb: Star Wars just because it's from a Disney show. It's kind of sad, people assume something is bad just because it's Disney. But it's good guys. It's good.
Yeah, the show is at worst a bit vanilla, maybe mildly annoying with the songs.
ajmrowland I'm sorry, what do you mean by "a bit vanilla"?
The Cartoonsiastic I mean that it's a bit plain, or flavorless. I.e. mild. Not that that's really bad.
ajmrowland I don't know, Doofenshmirtz adds so much to the show that I wouldn't call it flavorless. I agree that it's a bit plain, but it has enough charm to make it good. That's what I think, at least.
I actually agree
Nothing beats Robot chicken Star Wars.
Star Wars is always best on the big screen. I was 6 in May of 77 when Star Wars first came out. My mom and dad took me and my sister to see it. Seeing the rebel "Blockade runner" and the "Imperial star destroyer" in the beginning was totally awe inspiring.
Out of all the simpsons episodes ypu don't use the one with actual mark freaking hamill?
Lel
guys and dolls!
Lucas Ash Hey, pal, that's MY face up there next to the peppersteak, and don't you forget it.
Lucas Ash I remember that episode. That was back when Simpsons actually used celebrities for something other than marketing ploys.
That was a joke more than a Star Wars themed ep.
Switch Family Guy & Robot Chicken and I'll agree
The best part of the Family Guy Star Wars episodes were the constant bickering between Peter (Seth MacFarlane) and Chris (Seth Green, also executive producer of Robot Chicken) about Robot Chicken. Just made me laugh to realize that this could have been an actual discussion between the two when MacFarlane told Green they were planning on doing a Star Wars episode.

They used Lucas's concept of the used universe so well. The bathroom in the At-At, the Star Wars convention, the imperial officers pretending to choke; scenes like that really showed how well they knew and loved the lore.
"But, Lord Vader, putting Family Guy ahead of Robot Chicken wasn't part of the deal."
"I have altered the deal! Pray I don't alter it again!"
I was wondering why there was so much Star Wars today, but I just saw that a teaser trailer for Episode VII came out today and it was awesome
watching as many star wars related videos possible before I see ep. VII tonight
Did you like the force awakens?
Its good but the more you see it the more it seems like a remake at least to me
+Thomas Zulli It is April 12, 2016 and I finally saw it for the first time today! (Sucks being handicapped and not being able to go out)
must have been hard for you to avoid spoilers
Very! :)
the rugrats episode and the episode of KND where numbah one is sick on a snow day are my favorite star wars parodies
"Phineas & Ferb" is my fave :D
I'm glad they included that Phineas and Ferb non canon to both franchises just for fun crossover special. Love the songs in that one.
Star Warners, "Please Homer, Dont Hammer 'Em.", A New Hope, Phineas & Ferb: Star Wars, Robot Chicken: Star Wars, Falling Stars, "Operetion: C.A.K.E.D - F.I.V.E" & (Of course.) The Blue Harvest Trilogy.
I always loved the kids next door's Star Wars episode. The snow day one that played off episode 5
I'd like to point out that the music from The Phantom Menace is FUCKING AMAZING!
IT'S SOOOOOO GOOOOOD! O_O
I have an idea for a Top 10 category; Most Heartfelt Reunions (tv & film).
Have you already done this?
I still say phineas and ferb should've been at least second, that episode was pure genius.
#1 is totally accurate! and has anyone actually seem the Phineas and Ferb one, Its actually really good, that should be 3
My fave Star Wars reference was in phineas and Ferb
I think the Phineas and Ferb episode should have been number one. Family Guy may have portrayed it dutifully, but Phineas and Ferb's just couldn't be surpassed. They seemed to have more fun with it. #StarWarsIsAwesome
Agreed. In my opinion, it is the best Star Wars parody because of what they did with the premise and how well executed it was. ^_^
knarrow0222 I haven't seen it, but regardless of how good it was, people in the comments would likely rage since they would perceive it as a kids show and would assume it was terrible. WatchMojo were likely conservative with it's placing to avoid that.
Dan Grant a. Freaking. MEN.
Well, there's also the fact that the three in front of it have been out way longer. P&F Star Wars came out a few months ago.
It is amazing how they manage to tie in everything into the Star Wars storyline without ruining the Star Wars movie and losing P&F's innocence.
You didn't include the Simpsons episode with Mark Hamill? What the hell?
They did
Not truly Star Wars themed, despite the Mark Hamill cameo.
Did it involve Star Wars, or did it just have the actor in it?
Christine Kirby Mark Hamill was in it, and the theme was him trying out other projects after getting tired of the Luke Skywalker label. So he does musicals, pretty hilarious episode, it does spoof "The bodyguard" at one point, but in no way is it a "Star wars themed episode". Check it out, it's a good one.
"Use the fork"
It's amazing how a franchise can be at once so epically awesome and yet so easily joked about.
These were such great episodes!
I really liked the Family guy, 70s show, and Muppet show episodes!
And is that Ferb turning evil at the end?!
I should check that stuff out too!
I really loved seeing the first movie in the theater back In the 70's just awesome
Wow, Phineas and Ferb Star Wars is mentioned here..... This is an achievement for Dan Povenmire, and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh
In the Muppet one, did Peter Mayhew play Chewie and did Anthony Daniels play C3PO?
Robot chickens special was better than blue harvest. I love both of them but RC's is better as an exclusive star wars spoof where as to really enjoy blue haves you have to be both a FG and a SW fan.
The Phineas and Ferb one should have been at least in the top two. That one was great.
I agree full heartedly.
Haven't seen it in like forever.
Aurablasé I liked the Jar Jar joke
This list was so close to being perfect but Robot Chicken is the best because of how they're actually funny and don't make the franchise a joke and the jokes Robot Chicken do are actual jokes the fans know are true like Yeral Poof complaining Yoda and Windu are the only jedi that talk, Boba Fett escaping the Sarlacc pit and killing all the Rebels in his dreams, Darth Vader changing the deal with Lando and making him change his name, and Gary the Stormtrooper burning down Luke's family house because he was tired of walking in the sun. +lifeform106 Robot chicken sucks shit. I already hated it after just watching one scene. The family guy one is funny, it does a good job summarizing the movies, and overall it is just really fun to watch.
+James Thirlwell too far mate. Way too far.
Okay, now this was the most awesome Top 10, ever!!
"tatooine wind and fire". damn thats hilarious
Robot Chicken should be #1
Mallika Banerjee sorry, but they made it better
yes it should be #1
What the heck is an aluminum falcon ?!
it is the millennium falcon idiot
toxicman400 I am just quoting robot chicken
andaikatalah “who’s they?”
Oh fuck this, Robot Chicken's parody is WAY better than Family Guy's.
+Chris Ferguson Honestly im not allowed to watch robot chicken but i think family guy star wars is the best
Chris Ferguson I know
The nodding scene in that episode is so annoying instead of funny
Sometimes family guy feels like a endurance test than being tv show
6:26
"…even over 30 years after it aired, this bizarre crossover is still awesome, and hilarious to watch, and not nearly as uncomfortable as the holiday special…"
The holiday special shouldn't even be mentioned.
Totally nailed it! Robot Chicken was great and so was Family Guy. Though I have to give the edge to Family Guy because their lines are the ones that pop into my brain when I watch SW now.

The Phineas and Ferb one was my favorite.

VinceMX I hope that some of the characters somehow make they way in there :)
when Luke says they wouldnt get involved in a 3rd rate variety show on the Muppet episode, was that a jab at the holiday special?
The whole family guy star wars trilogy is just brilliant it deserves number 1 spot
the scene from "something, something, something, dark side", where they "fly casual", still makes me laugh
family guy's version of the trilogy was George Lucas favorite parody. they got to meet and even do an interview with him. Great choice for number one
I'm glad that 'That 70s Show' s episode was included!
While the Family Guy send-ups are great, I actually feel that Robot Chicken was more clever in the variety of ideas put forth in their specials.
Great list... for me though I would of had Anamaniac's Star Wars special higher, because it has a big impact on my memories. Family Guy's for me is number 1 with Robot Chicken number 2. I also remember seeing the Muppet Show one a long time ago.
1:52 WHOA WHOAH WHOA WHOA! THERE WAS AN ANIMANIACS STAR WARS PARODY? How did I not see that????
I LOVE THAT 70'S SHOW
Fairly Odd Parents should have at least been an honourable mention
Love the #1 pick i have seen all three of the family guy star wars spoof!
THAT 70'S SHOW!!!! WOOOO
PHINEAS AND FERB was the best one I've ever seen. Should be #1.
james irwin Much better than ROBOT CHICKEN.
***** Yah.
james irwin agree with you dude,
Part of me is wondering if you're baiting the haters or believe it, but it's not the worst one on here.
The Phineas and Ferb was the best in my opinion, as it's star wars episode probably being it's best ever.
I liked Phineas and Ferb... and during the honorable mentions i didn't know Rugrats made a Star Wars episode
My favourite was by far the Phineas and Ferb version.
Samurai Jack had a couple of good star wars references, there was even a whole episode that was almost like the entirety of "The New Hope"
If Family Guy ever did a Trilogy of the Prequel Movies. Cast Homer Simpson as Jar Jar Binks!
they basically said they will never do the Prequels
I think Meg would fit better as Jar Jar Binks. If Homer was in it, he should probably be the hero that kills Jar Jar Binks.
***** I'll handle this. Hey Matt Thornton. Is that the Family Guy Movie coming to Movie Theaters worldwide I'm hearing? Nope. All I hear is a breeze.
***** Actually, how about Jar Jar Binks is Allen Gregory. Everyone hates Jar Jar Binks. Everyone hates Allen Gregory.
THERE A PERFECT FIT!!!
***** I respect Seasons 1-10. Anything after that is either mediocre at best or just total garbage!
One thing missing from this list is the anime series Crayon Shin Chan parody episode Shin Wars. This episode was from was translated & localized by Funimation very well in recent years even making a reference in the scroll "Before Family Guy did it, we did it first".
One joke in a Simpsons episode makes it Star Wars themed?
Well said. ^_^
Well I had a mixed reaction on that .
Agreed. while I love the Robot Chicken parody.
I really like big bang theory's take on star wars when they were celebrating may the fourth by having a star wars marathon.
Why no "obama wins!" From southpark? If even the simpsons episode got in this?
Because that wasn't really the main theme of the episode. Came in late and they didn't really parody anything from Star Wars. Awesome episode, but would not fit in here.
TheThoerlChannel I agree it shouldn't be in there, but the Simpsons episode was also very out of place.
riksu02 That wasn't really a star wars themed episode except for Cartman's deal with Mickey Mouse. If anything, it was more about the stolen votes than the franchise
robot chickens palpatine was awesome and the best parody of any character of star wars
Robot Chicken Sw>Family Guy Sw
+the real gary I was suprised when they made FG Star Wars first instead of RC.
+the real gary Yep plus we all love Gary the Stormtrooper
Family guy star wars parodies were fucking hillarious, it hadn't cutaways which all youdon't like and in other words it was just brilliant and without a doubt it is better than the robot chicken ones
Robot Chicken's is great and hilarious, but its not the whole movie parodied. Its random bits. Family guy's is number one because it parodies the whole thing
Tell'Em The Family Guy special was boring! It was just star wars with a few extra jokes! Robot Chicken is SO much better.
12:48 "I wish I can listen to Tatooine, Wind & Fire"... Shit!!! This line made my day!
robot chicken should've number one
Its literally just a show about anthropomorphic toys
I also liked the kids next door episode where they spoofed the empire strikes back. They had giant school buses as ATAT's for the battle of hoth, a lightsaber duel, even those rolly droids from the prequel trilogy
DrViperVideos you mean destroyer droids?
For robot chicken star wars, fun fact, Carrie Fishier did some of the voice for it.
I had no idea Anamincas did a star wars parody, I loved that show growing up and i have some of the dvds, but not all of them, it might be on that one... :/ the F&P parody i will also have to check out, it looks pretty funny as seeing as them being neighbors and leaving the characters be themselves instead of being played by the characters of the show is a fresh spin
I'll have to highly disagree with the Family Guy being number one. while it did have some scenes, it took alot of meaningful scenes and just shit all over there. like the "I love you" "I know" or the Carbanite scene, replacing it with a fart joke.....
Carrie Fisher also voices Peter's boss Angela in Family Guy, who played Mon Mothma in the third Star Wars Parody 'It's a trap!'
i knew carrie did a voice in family guy but i did not know it was Angela. that's cool
Sailor Swifty R.I.P Carrie Fisher
Sailor Swifty sit back and read...
andrew feng after all these years, I never thought Carrie Fisher would be involved with Family Guy, come to think of it, didn't her mother die they day after she did?
i love the phineas and ferb episode because Thomas Brodie-Sangster gets a lot of lines
I know! It’s awesome!
I don't think the Super Mario show should have been an honorable mention at all.
Nice list, have to watch some of these!
Robot Chicken is the best
hey watchmojo you should more that 70's show choices very often. it's one of my most favorite tv shows of all time
May the pasta be with me? Could Mario get anymore stereotypical?
forget the stereotype, after Charles Marttinet hearing Mario with any other voice is just too wrong
This video couldn't have been more right!!! I loved it!
7:48 YEAH, suck on THAT, haters! ^^
You can say that again.
Why would I wanna suck on that? It's not like Watchmojo is professional considering some of the stuff they've done.
I have one. There was an episode of A.N.T Farm which had C-P30 and R2-D2
Robot Chicken should be number one. Family guy should be second and I love Family Guy.
make a top 10 James Bond themed TV episodes.
Phineas and Ferb should be one
"Ani Bobini ! Whatsa happened to you ?!" LOL love robot chicken jar jar
I think Phineas and ferb has the best
Same
7:44 Phineas and Ferb
11:53 family guy
You forgot tdwt Alejandro gets robot suit like darth Vader
WatchMojo really has a hard on for Family Guy
so do i so I can't say much lol .....but Blue Harvest....Its a Trap and Something Something Something Darkside were hilarious...plus Fam Guy references Star Wars on regular episodes all the time..even subtley in flashbacks and cut aways.... so I agree with them being number one
It just was the most elaborate and most hilarious parody, there's not much arguing about it.
And Family Guy is the best show ever (after Game of Thrones)
Mr. Bean I cant stomach either
It's Seth McFagbox that people have the hardon for, stupid people love that fucking guy.
you got the order pretty spot on. the fg trilogy is great but the bit you almost showed from robot chicken cracks me up every single time. "what do you mean they blew up the death star? ... who is theyyyy?!?!" just the complete surprise and disappointment in his voice when he says they just makes me lose it. and fyi - the garbage monster is a dianoga
I love Phineas and Ferb star wars it is so cool
That dodgeball episode in Ned's Declassified School Guide was pretty awesome.
Holly shit this is creepy... I was thinking about Star Wars entire day today... and then just as I am about to go offline I see this video! :O
***** No need to be rude...
damn, u wanna know whats fking weird?? i was thinking about THIS some minutes ago!!! When Family Guy had those Star Wars eps. etc etc...
GELSPRG Well to be fair if you havent been living under a rock for the past week or so you would know that the teaser came out today.
You are right it is. All day, i was thinking about someone leaving a comment on star wars video. And then i am just about to go off line and i see this.
They also did this in the anime, "Shin Chan". With robot rabbits in high heels and lightsabre duels with their _crotches._
