These slow motion shadow boxing videos are some of the best things I’ve seen. The lamnamoon one is like poetry in motion ❤

Guys this is an amazing study. Sylvie and her husband have put legacy in a time capsule. Watch this video using 2x speed to see the difference. And slow down the video to 0.25 speed to see the exact form. Beautiful study.

Great point! Using the changes of playback speed is a good idea.

The most consequential teacher you can have is your own body. It will tell you which style is the best for you. And mindful shadowboxing is the best conversation with your body to carve out the most optimal path for yourself.

I've been out of a striking gym for probably over ten years now, I can't quite remember. I didnt learn very much from these places. Sometime around 2013 I just decided to start shadowboxing. Ya know, just until I "got" how to throw a punch and a kick... Years later it has become my main form of exercise and I still feel like I haven't "got" it! The difference is now that I enjoy the feeling, the eternal chasing of perfection. So, thank you for giving that little bit of backstory on Yodkhunpon and all the hours upon hours of shadowboxing he must have done. I already knew it was a good path for myself but it also feels very affirming to find myself on a similar path (but not so far along!) as an all-time great. I knew my solo training was valuable and was helping me to improve but confirmation is very welcome. Thanks to the both of you.

Beautiful! Just beautiful! Makes me wanna go back to Martial Arts again. I stopped training the moment my Master passed...something inside me just turned off so bad, but these videos somehow are "clicking". I feel these videos capture the spirit of these Masters. You are doing a wonderful job Sylvie! Wherever you are God bless you.

    Godd.
It's so deadly, so beautiful, and so cinematic at the same time.
He look like an old martial-art master who get tired of fighting people and then start fighting with (i dont know, maybe) his own invisible-dark-evil demons. I wanna be there and watch him do this all day 👏👏

I shadow box for 20 mins a day, I’m still new after my first week of Muay Thai. I had to step away and have my shoulder belooked at (long-standing light injury from my hard labor jobs.) even in that first week it is important for me to run the basics of what I’ve learned... after my inspection and hopefully being cleared I will jump back in because I love the sport and the philosophy

I always love these slow mo videos that you publish, really highlights how relaxed and beautiful things like their foot work and weight distribution are.
Things that are hard to truly to appreciate at full speed.

Seeing this got me teary eyed man. Absolute fluidity and art. Recently got a punching bag and have been wanting to learn the fundamentals of muay thai. This will help very much in that journey.

I will often ask my students to name their favorite strikers and then ask what they all have in common. They all shadowbox.

I really feel like shadowboxing is the best workout every day , especially for the form . I never liked how people think you’re fighting the air but I know those people are ignorant.

Growing up my dad told me shadow boxing was better than hitting the bags. I never believed him til now. Now I know he's not lying. Training quietly is far more advanced than training loudly. 🖤
