Never tighten your shoulders, no need to turn foot on a jab and if you are a righty i prefer having left leg at front so your dominant hand (right) have more area for a power punch but its your preference
If you were in an actual match and your shoulders are these, you're going to burn them out much quicker as well. And the weird front foot pivot is messed.
Dont always keep your shoulders stiff and high, you gotta relax, keep them high while guarding or doing a hook(depends which is your dominant hand) and do not bend your knees, it limits movement, try to make your knees lose and have a bit of a bounce so you will be able to guard properly.

I think you shouldn't tighten your shoulders and do not tell beginners exactly how wide their stance should be as I think it develops naturally when you start to find your style (as a soviet boxer I have very wide stance) + I don't think you need to turn your foot when jabbing as it makes everything little slower but that comes to style.
