The 'don't wipe with towel' tip is genius. And the followup with toner, and not letting it dry out in the air. You only realize how important this is until you're really in trouble with problem skin.
I'm doing this for 3-4 months and I can see the result. I don't have big acne any more. My skin looks so much better than before. Thank you for sharing this amazing cleansing method ❤
Estelle Izumi Hi Estelle! My name is Daphne, I saw you asked a question about the best cleanser on TH-cam video on skin cleansing - I would recommend what I have seen working in so many skins all over the world - a Jeunesse product, made in USA but shipped to all over the world now. you may check out the details of our products on www.daph4life.jeunesseglobal.com
Estelle Izumi Hello, Sorry for this late response. I'd like to recommend this product for the proper cleansing. - [KLAIRS] Rich Moist Foaming Cleanser www.wishtrend.com/skin-care/961-hypoallergenic-face-wash-klairs.html?a_aid=wishtrendtv Thank you. :)
Priti Mohadikar I have been using acwa face wash daily and love the clean feel I get. Totally removes my make up including eye shadow and mascara and rinses clear. Talk about smooth skin..
i've tried this n it really works for me but this step take sometimes n my mother always complain that i used the bathroom too long...haha...but yaa it really works guys...😁😁😁😁
+Rhea Sylvia I don't want to be didactic, but maybe that's just how long it takes to properly cleanse your face. I'm Asian and this is what I do too (except that I use a foaming net to create foam). If someone's not willing to spend the time, then perhaps they shouldn't wonder why their skin isn't as good as they want it to be? In any case, this is a technique that doesn't cost money, just time. What's the harm in giving it a try?
the tutorial was great and so are you. i can tell you actually want to help girls out there with their skin . its so rare to find people like you these days. love ya sister .keep up the good work.
i tried this method to cleans my face and it feel so good and comfortable! my face get less oily and less tight because of this ! THANKS 😍 BTW , can you show us some way to remove blackheads and whiteheads?
+Chan Lin See So glad that this method helped! We recently did a video with one of our favorite brands Cosrx, and their expert gave us a skincare routine that helps with blackheads and whiteheads. Check it out :) th-cam.com/video/dqoJi1azgsQ/w-d-xo.html
Thank you for all the tips, you got beautiful skin! I've been struggeling with acne for about 6 years. It's not really that bad according to my surrondings, but it made me feel really insecure about my skin and myself. It's getting a lot better now, but it's been really bad from time to time... I really find it helpful to use a scrub with salicylic acid or tea tree oil on a wet face, after a hot shower or after a work out (after cleansing my face of course). But I don't scrub it harsly on my skin and then I let it sit for a couple of minutes, it really feels like all of the dirt disapperars when doing so. It removes a lot of impurities since the poores are open after a shower or work out (if you're acne prone - DON'T EXERCISE WITH YOUR MAKE-UP). It is even better to use a clay mask after the scrub as well to really drag out the impurities from the skin and also makes the poores a lot smaller! Another tip is to use products in general with salicylic acid, tea tree oil or aloe vera. I use Lush Tea tree toner and it really helped my skin. I use a gel cleanser during the summer time and a foam cleanser during the winter since my skin gets quite dry during the winter. Aloe vera is also great to use on red areas/acne or where you got high pigmentation -- it cools the skin down and repairs it, combine it with a gentle/oil-free moisturizer depending if you're really oily or not and it will help your skin even more! I recently started to use sun screen or products with SPF to protect my skin, since I got some high pigmentation scars from acne - it made a huge difference. I've also tried to use BB creams with whitning effects as a base before my foundation and it also helped my skin. And if you're struggeling with acne, you're not alone. Don't be afraid to not wearing make-up to conceal it, sometimes the skin just need to breathe. ^_^ I'm not a professional by any means, but these tips have helped my skin a lot. Hope it does for someone else as well. :)
thank you for talking about inner beauty at the end. so many beauty youtubers seem obsessed with being perfect and that isn't a healthy message to send viewers. thank you!
DONT use a foaming cleanser if you break out often. Foaming cleansers cause irritation and offset your skin's pH and moisture-water balance which causes breakouts. so use a non-foaming cleanser like a cleansing milk or cream.
I just used the toner on a wet face tip and I like it; the toner I'm using is a little strong for my taste (I'm thinking of diluting it with plain witch hazel), but this helped A LOT. My face felt clean but not so irritated. Thank you!
Hauschka is the best ,the cleansing milk first to remove make up and then the wash creame! All pimple gone no blackheads, perfekt skintone! Love it! Oh and i used bioderma cleansing water as last step!
a tip i have is to make sure your hands are clean every time you wash your face, use toner, put on moisturizer, etc ^^ thanks so much for sharing your tips with us!
i just passed by the videos here , and i found yours . u don't know how much i like korean people(i've been learning korean for a year and it's my 2nd year now) , and when i saw your video it just gave me energy and at the same time i felt calm . i do many mistakes while washing my face but i leant how to wash carefully my face especially , my oily skin face , from your video . thank you soooo much , i just loved you :) .
I have a bad habit of not washing face daily. Ik gross, but Day 5. my nose pores shrink. And putting foundation over made it better. Since it was gone I've been doing it twice a day morning/night. ; -)
Thanks because of following your advice especially in using the pinky in washing, my pimples stop growing it is really true that by applying force is harmful.
thank you for being so venerable and human. You made me feel welcomed and comfortable. I just recently started getting into taking care of my skin and I feel lost since I'm in my mid 20's and I should know this. I want to thank you for helping me and so many others out there. You're an amazing person and I look forward to seeing more amazing videos! :D thank you again!
btw, I have to point this out, I love hearing you speak and hearing your advice, I think because I can really feel your passion through your videos. Much appreciated xx
I am an Asian and I now living in Australia. My skin is really sensitive, dry and a bit flaky. I wonder what sort of cleansing, toner and moisturizing product should I use?
when I'm having a problem with my skin I apply a face mask and I try to be clean with all the things I used when I apply makeup on ^_^ love your suggestions green tea can also be used as the water itself used to cleanse the face ~♥ can't wait for your next video.
I have a sensitive skin and acne skin and my doctor advised me to use face cleanser that has that little ball like to exfoliate my skin and it actually make my skin become reaaaaaally soft and decreased the acne that i have in my face. But when you wash your face using face cleanser that has exfoliate balls, just don't rub it too hard because the ball will scrub itself around your face when you wash your face using your hands :)
For acne, i would recommend using this mask, it helped me clear my acne and i'm still using it as it prevents any reoccurring acne as it extracts the dirt that are underneath my skin... try it! But becareful when u exfoliate too much if u have acne, it will dry your skin and acne will come back amazononlinesales.com/aztec-secret-indian-healing-mask
Thank you so much for your hard work! Your explanations are very detailed and informative. As someone who is constantly trying to improve their skincare routine, I highly appreciate it!
I think most important is to cleansing with warm water, then at the end rinse with cold water. it's good that now a lots of brand offer foam cleanser which it make much more easier and less harmful. I don't think pinky finger will make do good on cleansing, i think as long as you don't rub your face skin , it okay to do very gentle message just to cleansing the dirt and rinse with warm water, and lastly cold.
Wow I've been doing everything wrong, thank you for the tips! Just one question, why can't you just let your face dry naturally, why do you have to pat the water in? I'll try this tonight x
+Sasha Bunakova good question Sasha! We can let our face dry naturally but the thing is that by the time all the water is dried on our face then our face is going to become and also feel really dry! So especially if you have dry skin, before it dries up, it's important that we moisturize our skin.
Thank you so much for teaching and learning me new things! :) I will try to massage my face with my pinkie's and not use towels anymore :) Thank you so much eunice this was really helpful and interesting!
Thank you so much for the tips. I love your channel! I always wash my face with warm water only, because my skin can not handle any cleansing foam. At the end I wash with cold water to tighten the pores. After that I use oil to moisturize while the face is still wet. it seems more moisture is retain and my skin is less irritated this way.
Question! Do you recommend using oil (oils that do not clog pores) as a moisturizer rather than lotion. A lot of moisturizers contain soap, and I rather much stick to natural beauty products. What kind of mist did you use for your skincare btw? :)
wow! I really like the way you do tutorial, it's very informative and dedicating. Thanks so much! But I want to ask that if we use only 1 finger during cleasing then it must takes much time to finish with the face compared with using 3 or 4 fingers at a time, but I read somewhere that we shouldn't leave cleansing products on our face more than 1 minutes, it says that you should cleanse your face within 1 minute.. 1 minute for the rubbing on hands to create bubbles then 1 minute for cleasing it on your face...I follow this and now I'm not sure that if using only 1 pinky, 1 minute is enough for me?
I see what you mean about foaming cleansers, but foaming cleansers aren't recommended for dry skin. I use to use a foaming cleanser made for sensitive skin, but my skin became more dry so now I use a gel formula for sensitive skin. I'll be using your advice and rubbing my cleanser between my hands with water from now on :)
I love this video, If I feel though like my face is too wet I use a cotton pad without wiping the water off but dabbing it on my face so it will only absorb the extra water. Your videos are amazing , keep up the wonderful job. 😍
thank you so much for this vid! it was really helpful and i think i would try your routine because apparently mine doesnt work and im having a break out now and *sigh* ive been doing the wrong things like applying pressure to my face and using a towel after cleansing my face! im so glad i found your video!
i wanna warn people that i followed leaving water on my face after washing and not patting my face with a towel and i started having acne everyday for about a month or two. i was wondering why i kept popping up with pimples everyday even though im using products that my skin never reacted to and i found out it was because i followed that technique. i stopped doing that for over a week and my acne has only started to clear up. if you keep having acne after following this, stop leaving water on your face and pat your face gently with a clean towel!
The "leave water or pat it" on your face thing, doesn't work on everyone. For some of you who doesn't know, the water that doesn't dry out properly would give some of us "water mark". The mark would look paler than our skin tone, which is uneven and of course nobody wants that result. I suggest we pat or lightly pressed the face towel on our face so it won't rub some of our sensitive/dry skin off. One thing you didn’t mention was, we should avoid eye area when we apply toner/balancing softener and moisturising. We have to make sure the product is safe enough before we apply it on our eye area, it's the most sensitive part of our face :) We usually buy eye cream or other specific serum for under eyes area.
I got lured in since your voice is so soothingg~ this is so nice to actually see and know along with the clear details! I'm so glad I stumbled upon this video! Defs a must have channel I need to follow!!! :3
I stayed away from manual exfoliation pretty well my whole life but I didn't feel like chemical and various other types were working well for me. I then got a PMD (personal microdermabrasion device)...again not enough..I tried using things like bicarbonate soda (in a paste) to exfoliate, thinking a finely milled powder would be safer than grains..it was okay.. but I finally decided to try St. Ives blemish fighting apricot scrub (my friend constantly recommended it to me but I refused for countless reasons) and I love it. It is so creamy, my skin feels super moisturised and smooth afterwards..and my acne has decreased a little...but my skin is really sensitive and acne prone so according to all these Korean skincare videos, I should only exfoliate twice a month if at all..but it has improved my skin..so what should I do? I'm finding that my skin is SO VERY VERY different to anyone I know..like if I'm using excessive products..bad result (thus, I have a simplistic Japanese inspired routine) and I stopped using toner. I have tried so many from all different categories and honestly my skin was so much better afterwards. I exfoliate every second day now and also dermaplane when needed..should I just dermaplane?? Would that be better??

Yes, foaming cleanser is no good to sensitive skin type!

We have to make sure the product is safe enough before we apply it on our eye area, it's the most sensitive part of our face :) We usually buy eye cream or other specific serum for under eyes area.
It really helped me ! Thanks can you do a video about forehead acne ? Please ? Cause that's my problem !

Do you have a video on how to apply moisturizer; do you use the pinky method for that as well? Thank u!
