Step 1: oil hair strand before washing, massage for 2-3 minutes Step 2: use luke warm water, not hot water Step 3: wet hair thoroughly before shampooing, and shampoo right after rinsing (don’t squeeze hair in between) Step 4: massage shampoo into scalp using fingertips in a side to side motion, or a little scalp exfoliate, shampoo for 3 minutes. Dont shampoo all of your hair, only scalp! Step 5: rinse shampoo out with warm water for 1 minute, then squeeze hair dry to remove excess water, don’t roll hair, squeeze in a downwards motion Step 6: then apply conditioner to strands of the hair, not to the scalp! Massage product gently from mid length to end. And let it sit for 10 minutes, cover with a shower cap or a clip. Rinse with warm- cold water Step 7: now thay hair is clean, remove excess water squeezing in downward motion. Towel dry with a micro fibre towel or old Tshirt, and gently press downwards Step 8: follow up with a hair oil. Or leave in conditioner first and then hair oil. Tips: the less you wash your hair the better, healthy range between washes is 3-4 days.
@@Ruby-yn5fp I don’t know about the oil, but for conditioning you do it in the ends because it would just make your scalp look greasy/become greasier quicker I think

Before this video I couldn’t understand why my Volumising shampoos never worked… (I was washing them out straight away) but after leaving it on and following your tips it’s actually working! In all of my 31 years of life it had never clicked that I was doing it wrong! Thanks so much ☺️ btw your hair is beautiful x
You can also shampoo your hair bent over and your hair flipped over so it’s hanging and not on your back kinda thing and shampoo it that way it helps with volume you can also do it with conditioner since that’s usually what weighs down your hair !!
I’ve been using this technique of hair wash for the past 5 washes and oh my! If only I know this earlier! My hair is definitely much healthier and smoother than before. I feel so bad for my hair for not cleaning it the proper way all this while. Thank you for the video ❤

Hair growth tips : Have at least two eggs in the breakfast. Eggs are a good source of protein, which helps promote hair growth. Additionally, try to have one cup of yogurt. Yogurt is rich in vitamins and minerals, which helps to grow hair and also keep it shiny and beautiful. At night, apply reactivate hair growth serum of liitllextra as it has rosemary and various ingredients. This works all the time.
I rarely comment but omg this I noticed the change so much the next day when I oiled my hair before washing. Amazing. Thank you so much!My hair usually feels so dry but today it’s soft and my curls are so defined!!!

My personal notepad tips for you all! (Sorry it's so long and not finished) -Use fermented rice water twice a week (preferably jasmine rice or add essential oils to the rice water for a less foul smell and more nutrients and oils.) -FULLY wet hair before shampooing; make sure to work quickly and apply shampoo directly after fully wetting hair. -Don't wring out your hair before shampooing; leave it SOAKING wet and then apply, this is because shampoo needs water to properly later and open up the hair cuticles. -Don't use more than a quarter size of shampoo; don't try to deny it we use way too much. -Do NOT scrub your scalp with nails, rub your ends to clean them, or cleanse your scalp vigorously. -Spend at least 3 mins. Scrubbing your scalp. -Use warm-lukewarm water. Not extremely hot or cold. -If you think not cleaning the rest of your hair (only cleaning scalp) is not thorough and does not get the rest of your hair (middle parts and ends) cleaned as well, it does. As you wash out the shampoo, it eventually gets to the bottom as well as the water (because of gravity), meaning all aspects of dirt, extra oil, and more get washed away all the same. -That said, while washing out your shampoo, make sure to wash out the shampoo for at LEAST one minute, or else build-up can occur, causing excess tangles, build-up, and overall unhealthy hair. -Don't twist hair when applying shampoo or conditioner. -[Tip: the less you wash your hair the better, the healthy range between washes is 3-4 days.] -Either oil your hair or [D_Shay on youtube commented this] try using Aloe Vera gel instead before washing [applies to both]! -[Tip by Anna on TH-cam] Doro missed the 2 main, first steps which are: 1 . Brushing your hair to detangle your hair before washing it. 2 . Washing your hair brush to avoid re-applying the oils back into your hair when you'll brush your clean hair afterwards. -Massage the conditioner gently from the mid-lengths to the ends of your hair using the palms of your hands or your fingers. -Once the conditioner is fully in your hair, use a shower cap or claw hair clip. You can do whatever you want for about 10 minutes, then turn on the cold water and wash out your hair with cold water for about 10 seconds to rinse the product a bit, and that's it. -Remove the excess water with a gentle squeeze. -DO NOT use a normal towel to dry your hair. Use an old T-shirt or microfiber towel instead, pressing gently on all sides a few times. -After drying, do not wait to add hair oils. Add leave-in conditioner first, then hair oils and/or hair serums. -Doro's favorite oils are jojoba oils, grape seed oils, and argan oils. -It will most likely take some amount of time (probably a week at most) to begin to start seeing results, but you may start seeing improvement on the first wash!

Thank you thank you thank you. This is everything I’ve ever needed. I’ve done so many of these mistakes and my hair is really damaged and frizzy. I’m gonna start learning from my mistakes and hope for my hair to get better.
For someone with long and thick hair, washing it every 7 days, sounds like a “wet dream”. Will your technique prevent from a greasy looking scalp within 2 days after washing it? Using so many oils before and after could be a greasy disaster, no? Thank you.
actually, sebum acts the same as it does on the skin: it's a protective mechanism to keep your skin/hair hydrated, the less hydration there is the more sebum it produce. If u wash your hair so many times a week it will lose that hydration so it will become even more greasier. The first step probably will be using treatments that hydrate ur hair. Then trying to wash it every two days (if u washed it on monday: the next will be on wednesday). It will be still greasy at first bc your scalp is used to produce that amount of sebum, but with the time it will be less greasy. If u moisture ur hair with oil before the washing you're protecting your hair from it's hydration to go away, so that's important too.
I have long and wavy hair and it's definitely less greasy now when implementing these tips. I've only recently added oiling my hair before my wash and it looked so healthy and beautiful after this step! I have been washing my hair once every 7 days for about a year, and it has made a big difference in the oil factor. Before I would have to wash my hair every other day, and now my hair has a good 3 days before it starts to get a little oily. After implementing oil before shampoo, it seemed to last one day longer even, and I can survive having my hair a little oily for just 2 days or so. Maybe implement her tips for the wash, and then aim to go 3 days without shampooing, see how it goes, and build up the time in between washes from there gradually.
Thank you, these tips are great! My hair breakage is at a minimum and my hair is feeling much more hydrated. During the pre-wash oil treatment, I also massage a small amount of coconut oil into my scalp. I tend to have a dry and sometimes flaky scalp, and this extra step leaves my scalp hydrated between washes.
I prefer to watch videos that qualify the hair type that the suggestions are applicable for. And I would avoid using blanket statements/over generalizing. My hair is fine, short and low porosity. Several of the mistakes you mention do not apply for my hair type. If I put oil in my hair even before I shampoo I would have to wash more than just my scalp at least 3 times to get my hair clean enough to not look greasy like severus snap after shampoo it.
I guess she means it for people with hair like hers but you can/should experiment and see what works best! Environment, water, genetics, weather... a lot of things can influence what does and doesn't work.
Same thing here. Once i tried to put coconut oil but just to the end of hair, It looked like I had put my head in a fryer and didn't go away with washing. Oils and hair condicionar are a no go for me
@@orianechalvet1517 conditioner IS for you. Coconut oil is for NO ONE’S hair. Trust me you need to use a small bit (dime for short hair, dollar for longer or more) of DAILY OR HYDRATING (PROFESSIONAL) conditioner after using a good quality SHAMPOO. All (GOOD QUALITY) conditioners do is soften and moisturize and will improve the condition of your hair if properly used. It’ll make your hair feel more manageable, soft, silky, shiny and less frizzy! It’s all about quality and quantity. Less is more usually.
I have been doing this routine for a couple of weeks now and when i tell u my hair has dramatically changed. It did. I dont recognize my hair anymore. Its crazyy thank you so much u have helped me a ton.
Yes you let it sit in for a while to penetrate the cuticle… the shower cap creates natural heat amongst your scalp which swells the hair shaft, to open up the cuticle and absorb what you have put on the hair (in other words the mask) then when you rinse out the product… to close the hair shaft back and seal the conditioner into the hair to absorb more of what you applied, you will wash with cool to cold water which then shrinks the hair cuticle back to its normal and locks in the nutrients, protein or wte you put into the hair. Correct… great video❤️
nobody will ever make me stop putting hot water on my head. thats one of the top 3 things in my life i look forward to... CLOSING YOUR EYES WITH VERYY HOOOT WATER IN THE SHOWER and the DAMPING from the hot water is just a premium in life that nobody should give up in life..
If you don’t want to give up hot water then you could use hot water for shampoo and turn it to cold before you rinse out your conditioner and get out the shower. Then you won’t have to give up hot water. I will say that colder water definitely helps your hair a lot more. My friend is a hair stylist in hair school rn and she always tells me to do warm water to open everything up and then cold water to close everything or something like that. I’m definitely a hot water lover myself but I’ve started to slowly make make hot water a little cooler by slowly lowering my water temperature each time I take a shower now. It helps a lot so that I can get used to the cold water. Anyways hope this helps!

The only thing about adding so much oil before a shower is it will destroy the drains. All that oil will solidify again. I used to have a body oil that you put on in the shower but realised it would probably ruin my septic tank! So stopped.
Shampoo breaks the oils down I have a septic tank and have never had any issues. Coconut oil melts at 76 degrees run some hot water down the drain if you're really worried and use fractionated coconut oil it doesn't solidify.
I watched the video with interest, the tips are amazing, from now on, my hair washing and conditioning techniques will change, I often wondered why my hair was like straw after my usual wash. Doro's tips make a lot of sense. Thank you lovely lady, your hair is beautiful. Xx
I agree. Your hair needs a break from the treatments and needs to at least be oily for a bit so it's moisturized. It's so hard for me to do this though because within 1 day, my hair looks like a grease trap 🤣 it drives me crazy
I do the same, especially that I have drier curly hair. I sometimes do it twice a week, if the hair gets too tangled or I simply don't like how it looks like, or if I do sports in the super hot summer. But I'd say it depends on the type of hair and it depends if you do a lot of intense physical activities and on the climate/season you're in.
Thank you so much doro! Ever since I changed my hairs life my hair has never been silkier and smooth although i still have a bit of split ends that need to be cut I have an appointment this friday for my split ends but i can defs see a lot of improvements! The days i dont shower my mom thinks I do cuz its so smooth!😂 Here are some of the mistakes i was doing. 1: Not oiling my hair before wash. 2:Using a lot of shampoo 3:Not using conditioner properly 4:NEVER applying hair masks 5:no massaging. 6:no hair products for my hair after shower What I would end up with:tangles in my hair after shower. Dry and frizzy hair. Lice😭 But now all of them are gone u really helped me a lot!❤❤

i used to wash my hair 1 a week for about 4 months and it made my hair so bad, ever since i started washing my hair every other day it got sm better and healthier. It honestly depends on your hair.
Once a week is a big stretch, you would want to gradually yet slowly transition to washing your every 3-4 days. I can't even last w my hair being washed once a week lol, but yes you are right everyone has different hair types whatever works for you!
You can wash your hair 2or3times a week with shampoo and in between you do the same technique only with water. Don't forget to brush the hair before washing. That takes your natural skalp oil in your length.
Once a week actually suits my hair. Once I washed my hair after 4 days, it wasn't looking well. It felt drier + all of the oils I had applied which made my hair silkier before, that sikliness faded away. Anyways because of my hectic schedule the only day I get to relax & to do these techniques is Sunday

6:35 The only thing that helps my scalp psoriasis is putting the conditioner right on my scalp, otherwise I get bad flare-up patches. And the only conditioner that helps for the scalp psoriasis is "Clear" brand conditoner. Spent so much money on scalp masks and everything to help and they do nothing and sometimes made the patches worse/more inflamed. Also I have to blow-dry my roots/scalp otherwise it results in lots of scales patches from the moisture sitting. Sucks having scalp psoriasis :(
This video is really helpful to understand certain basic things about washing hair the right way, unfortunately nobody teaches it like this in childhood so we tend to do it the wrong way, i m going to try out the tips and tricks now and see how it works
There is just one thing I want to comment on: The very last tip, I don't personally recommend 7 days because while it will be healthier on the hair, it won't be healthy for the scalp. It will have a build-up of yeast fungus which will lead to many complications. Like she said, 3-4 days is recommended. But everyday is recommended if you have fine hair, oily scalp/hair, exercise a lot, and/or live in a humid place.
Was just going to say the same thing! I am 27 and have always had very oily skin and people forget your scalp is skin. So people with oily skin will usually struggle with an oily scalp. I have always washed my hair daily and my hair will only be visibly oily the next day. During COVID 2020 I tried the whole wash it every 3-4 days and I stuck with this for 3-4 months and it made my hair and scalp very unhealthy. My hair was constantly waxy and my scalp started suffering huge chunks of scabs falling out. My scalp also became severely itchy. I think people need to remember there is a difference between oily hair because your hair is dirty or has too much product build up, and a scalp that is oily due to hormones. Hormonal oiliness cannot be controlled and washing less doesn’t necessarily make it better.
Actually for low porosity hair (especially curly) it's recommended to rinse your conditioner with (luke)warm water. If I do it with cold water my low porosity hair can't absorb my products correctly 😊
The frequency of washing the hair is different, according to hair types and climates. If one lives in hot climates, washing the hair daily or every other day is a necessity almost. However, if one lives in cold climates, like Sweden, Norway, Canada...I would say 4 days to a week is recommended.
Definitely not for black people. African hair will fall right off if you wash it daily or even 3 times a week. Once a week or once every two weeks is best.
Norway/Sweden isnt "cold", only in winter -Northen Norwegian The more you wash your hair, the more oily it gets because you wash away the sebum too often, so your scalp makes too much of it. So washing it 1-2 days a week is recommended. 4 days is waaaayyyy too much
I live in India. My location is like temperate in winters but it's mostly a sub-tropical/rainforest area. So although it's hella hot here in summers, I can't really wash my hair everyday. I only tend to wash it if it's really sweaty + my hairs are loong & thick af and they also fall a lot during the time I wash them so I try to wash them only once a week (because my hairs are weak). They're still healthy tho
This way worked, my hair starting get more better than before, my hair is frizzy and lil bit thick before and i started this way it's getting more Shiny,Stright and No frizzy!!💞
For the past 31 years I wash my hair every 7 to 8 days and I air dry or microfiber dry my hair. I get my hair cut 4 times a year. Thank you for the video. Would you do a video on wrinkles and dark circles? Thank you
i've been washing my hair like this for my whole entire life! the only thing i haven't been doing is using oil before showering and i never use products after showering, but i'll now do it!
You may have naturally curly hair that you've been treating as straight hair so it frizzes up.. Try scrunching it upwards and not oiling too much right after a shower. If it's curly right after the shower then you have curly hair.
About oiling the hair before washing the hair, how long should the avocado or coconut oil stay in the hair? Do you apply it only in the ends or on the scalp too?
Extra tipp: I wash my hair (scalp) upside down (headdown). This way 1. the hair stands up better from scalp and therefor water & shampoo can rinse through better, and 2. the oils (and conditioner) don't rinse over & stick to my back.. (..and 3. I get no loose hair into my bikinizone!! 😂)
Hi, I was looking for this comment 😂 my hair is thick and long so I wash my hair upside down way. Is it okay or do we have to wash our hair like this that showed on this video? TIA
Ok but something I’ve always wondered. When people say to use luke warm water, is that luke warm to your hands? Or luke warm to the scalp? Since the scalp produces heat, it feels drastically different
I have quite a lot of hair damage because of bleaching and other common hair mistakes (which i didn't even know i was doing), so this helped me a LOT❗️😊 thank you!
it's probably not the amount of times you wash your hair a week, but the shampoo you're using. as a black guy, i have to be extremely careful when it comes to parabans and sulfates. like, i cannot use them in my routine. while they might be good for other ethnicities, black people tend to need more hydration i.e. shampoo without these products. maybe try shampoos and conditioners from the ethnic section? a good one to start off with is cantu if you want recommendations.
@@itzzy1859 wow. Thank you! I struggle with dandruff to the point of scalp bleeding and have tried everything, but now I have renewed hope. Blessings to you.
Use shampoos specifically for your scalp..there are leave in treatments for the scalp as well..I do have to wash my hair more often..every 2-3 days or my scalp gets angry. My scalp is healthy now… and so is my hair..no more itchy, no more bumps, no more dryness.. and my hair does not get as oily as before I started treating my scalp..that’s why I can skip some days
I know this might be a long shot but do you go to bed or put your hair up while it’s damp? Hair needs to be dry or you can get fungus which manifests as dandruff. Just one possibility.
@Doro Cubillo have a question, if I dont apply shampoo to the strands how will I remove the oil that massaged before? If it remains won't my hair become greasy? But otherwise all your techniques are amazing and they work for me!
You shouldn't apply shampoo in your ends because shampooing the ends make them dry and talking about removing dirt and oil. When you wash your hair after shampooing then it will quickly clean your ends and if you want to apply shampoo on the ends you can but don't apply so much shampoo too because it can make them dry
Actually, no. The magic is in the amount. The rule here is 'less is better'. Use a little amount of oil and spread it thoroughly and believe me it works.
These are some great tips! I recently changed my shampooing routine and the difference is so clear! Though I don't oil my hair before washing as my hair already gets kinda oily at the end of week. I use aloe vera gel instead, it definitely makes my hair very soft

What if scalp is oily ? Do I wash it until my scalp hair squeaks? If not, how do I know it's clean? I'm amazed that I cannot find any info on this ANYWHERE.
Step 1: oil hair strand before washing, massage for 2-3 minutes
Step 2: use luke warm water, not hot water
Step 3: wet hair thoroughly before shampooing, and shampoo right after rinsing (don’t squeeze hair in between)
Step 4: massage shampoo into scalp using fingertips in a side to side motion, or a little scalp exfoliate, shampoo for 3 minutes. Dont shampoo all of your hair, only scalp!
Step 5: rinse shampoo out with warm water for 1 minute, then squeeze hair dry to remove excess water, don’t roll hair, squeeze in a downwards motion
Step 6: then apply conditioner to strands of the hair, not to the scalp! Massage product gently from mid length to end. And let it sit for 10 minutes, cover with a shower cap or a clip. Rinse with warm- cold water
Step 7: now thay hair is clean, remove excess water squeezing in downward motion. Towel dry with a micro fibre towel or old Tshirt, and gently press downwards
Step 8: follow up with a hair oil. Or leave in conditioner first and then hair oil.
Tips: the less you wash your hair the better, healthy range between washes is 3-4 days.
Also, won't all that oil make the hair heavy and cause oil build up?

Before this video I couldn’t understand why my Volumising shampoos never worked… (I was washing them out straight away) but after leaving it on and following your tips it’s actually working! In all of my 31 years of life it had never clicked that I was doing it wrong! Thanks so much ☺️ btw your hair is beautiful x
You can also shampoo your hair bent over and your hair flipped over so it’s hanging and not on your back kinda thing and shampoo it that way it helps with volume you can also do it with conditioner since that’s usually what weighs down your hair !!
@@Alwaysmommy33114I did that, I thought it would be easier, it was easier to apply shampoo but my hair got tangled a lot
I’ve been using this technique of hair wash for the past 5 washes and oh my! If only I know this earlier! My hair is definitely much healthier and smoother than before. I feel so bad for my hair for not cleaning it the proper way all this while. Thank you for the video ❤
I love your phrasing. "For me this is best but I know not everyone can do this" so nice, you understand that humans aren't a monolith 🖤. Your videos are so helpful, thank you.
After a month, I am at last noticing new hair growth. I simply applying cocooniion shampoo and reactivate hair serum.
I spotted some fresh hair growing today after using the reaactivate serum and coocoonion kit

My personal notepad tips for you all! (Sorry it's so long and not finished)
-Use fermented rice water twice a week (preferably jasmine rice or add essential oils to the rice water for a less foul smell and more nutrients and oils.)
-FULLY wet hair before shampooing; make sure to work quickly and apply shampoo directly after fully wetting hair.
-[Tip: the less you wash your hair the better, the healthy range between washes is 3-4 days.]
-Either oil your hair or [D_Shay on youtube commented this] try using Aloe Vera gel instead before washing [applies to both]!
Thx for sharing! 🙌🏼🙌🏼😊
If don't use shampoo all over the hair then the oil and dirt will not remain in the hair???
If I don't apply shampoo to my strands they end up remaining oily. Is there a solution to it?

Thank you for all of the hair care guidance! Can you do a video on post-gym hair care? My hair is so sweaty after a workout but I know we are not supposed to wash it everyday.
You could rinse with water to run the sweat off. You shouldn't soap your entire skin every day either, it strips oils from there just as well.

Thank you.
same questions here
same, and not only does my scalp get greasy but my ends get ratty looking if I dont wash often. washing them is the only thing that fluffs them up
actually, sebum acts the same as it does on the skin: it's a protective mechanism to keep your skin/hair hydrated, the less hydration there is the more sebum it produce.
I have curly hair, if I don’t wash my scalp at least twice a week it will be so itchy from the products I use to keep my curls under control.
Oils and hair condicionar are a no go for me
I have long hair, but very thin. I use oil first, but have no problem shampooing it out. I leave my conditioner in at least 5 minutes.
I just wash my hair once a week and it supplies the oil.
Been following your routine since three weeks now, Love how my hair looks and feels. 🙏🏽🙏🏽😘
nobody will ever make me stop putting hot water on my head. thats one of the top 3 things in my life i look forward to...

Thank you lovely lady, your hair is beautiful. Xx
I agree on washing once a week. A lot of ppl might find it strange but I think it's actually healthier for the hair.
It depends on person to person but yes to a lot of people (including me) once a week works.
This is very helpful, thank you 😊
Probably I do 80% of the things you said that we shouldn't do 😆 Now I know why my hair doesn't look healthy.

The days i dont shower my mom thinks I do cuz its so smooth!😂 Here are some of the mistakes i was doing.
1: Not oiling my hair before wash.
2:Using a lot of shampoo
3:Not using conditioner properly
4:NEVER applying hair masks
5:no massaging.
6:no hair products for my hair after shower
What I would end up with:tangles in my hair after shower. Dry and frizzy hair. Lice😭

Wow, I didn’t expect to learn so much in one video! I will probably never be able to wash my hair the same… Thanks for all the good tips!😀
i used to wash my hair 1 a week for about 4 months and it made my hair so bad, ever since i started washing my hair every other day it got sm better and healthier.
@@marensartorius1304 wouldn’t rinsing with just water in between the regular washings make your hair stinky tho?
@@suplib If you mean with stinky, that your Hair dosn't smell perfumed, when you use only water, you are right. And If you life in an area with hard water, you have to rinse your Hair. Sucks having scalp psoriasis :(
as someone with naturally very wavy hair, i comb my hair while the conditioner is in and i find it really eliminates knotty hair the next day! ☺️

I have use warm water to drench my hair
was just about to wash my hair and Doro's video popped!💛
yay 😊💜 just on time ✨
The frequency of washing the hair is different, according to hair types and climates.
I live on the west coast of Florida and I wash my hair every 4-5 days with no issues.
Norway/Sweden isnt "cold", only in winter
-Northen Norwegian
The more you wash your hair, the more oily it gets because you wash away the sebum too often, so your scalp makes too much of it.
This way worked, my hair starting get more better than before, my hair is frizzy and lil bit thick before and i started this way it's getting more Shiny,Stright and No frizzy!!💞

it's 4am and i'm watching this but it's so worth it. I've learnt so much, can't wait to try it out. Thank you!!!!!!
Hey Doro. I was wondering if you could do a video about frizzy hair and how to defrizz it
You may have naturally curly hair that you've been treating as straight hair so it frizzes up.. Try scrunching it upwards and not oiling too much right after a shower. If it's curly right after the shower then you have curly hair.
frizz = dry

About oiling the hair before washing the hair, how long should the avocado or coconut oil stay in the hair? Do you apply it only in the ends or on the scalp too?
I think she only applies it to the ends. And I think it is for a short period of time since she steps into the shower right after.
@@Diianthe yeah i would leave it 15 - 30 minutes or something
all your suggestions are really good. another one to keep your hair healthy is to not use heat when you dry it
I already washed my hair today before I discovered this 😢 Will apply these tips next time. Thank you!
Extra tipp: I wash my hair (scalp) upside down (headdown).
This way 1. the hair stands up better from scalp and therefor water & shampoo can rinse through better,
and 2. the oils (and conditioner) don't rinse over & stick to my back..
(..and 3. I get no loose hair into my bikinizone!! 😂)
Hi, I was looking for this comment 😂 my hair is thick and long so I wash my hair upside down way. Is it okay or do we have to wash our hair like this that showed on this video? TIA
I never thought about that great idea thanks! 😊
Love her energy, and her super useful tips!💁🏽♀️💕💕
Ok but something I’ve always wondered. When people say to use luke warm water, is that luke warm to your hands? Or luke warm to the scalp? Since the scalp produces heat, it feels drastically different
Lukewarm to the inside of the wrist or inside of elbow these are the two best places to test water temp like making a bath or bottle for a baby😊
I wanna say thank you to Doro because i was always doing does hair mistakes and now i know how treat my hair and get them heathy
I have quite a lot of hair damage because of bleaching and other common hair mistakes (which i didn't even know i was doing), so this helped me a LOT❗️😊 thank you!
Unfortunately I get dandruff so not washing my hair for more than a day completely irritates my scalp. Great tips tho!
it's probably not the amount of times you wash your hair a week, but the shampoo you're using.
as a black guy, i have to be extremely careful when it comes to parabans and sulfates. like, i cannot use them in my routine. while they might be good for other ethnicities, black people tend to need more hydration i.e. shampoo without these products.
maybe try shampoos and conditioners from the ethnic section? a good one to start off with is cantu if you want recommendations.
Actually it takes ages for my hair to dry and yeah sometimes it can be a little damp when I go to bed if I bathed late in the afternoon
@@KiranSharma-vt3pb hmm I understand, thank you.
@@sadiaahmed7094 welcome 😀
There's something that I don't understand: isn't putting oil on your hair after showering making your hair oily again?
Actually, no. The magic is in the amount. The rule here is 'less is better'. Use a little amount of oil and spread it thoroughly and believe me it works.
@@samikshaupadhyay76 ok thank you
This is the best hair tutorial I’ve ever seen. Thank you
I loveeeeee your video!! Thank you for this amazing video.I have been doing all the bad hair washes.I will do everything you said.😁❤️😊
These are some great tips! I recently changed my shampooing routine and the difference is so clear! Though I don't oil my hair before washing as my hair already gets kinda oily at the end of week. I use aloe vera gel instead, it definitely makes my hair very soft
that's amazing ❤️ not everything works on everybody and if you think oiling before it's not for your hair than no need to add it 😉
What aloe Vera gel do you use? My hair gets pretty oily after a day so I literally should not put more oil in it lol
@@suplib Any aloe Vera gel works, just see the ingredients. Use the ones with 98-99% aloe Vera. Avoid anything with mineral oils.

Aww you are so sweet ❤️ thank you love 😘
What if scalp is oily ? Do I wash it until my scalp hair squeaks? If not, how do I know it's clean? I'm amazed that I cannot find any info on this ANYWHERE.
All moms with small kids who take 1 minute showers as kids peak into the shower asking “ are you all done mommy “?😂
These tips are really helpful.. Thank you for explaining in detail!
aw im happy you found them useful 💜
