Beaver and a Brown on Accotink Creek

The trout fishing seems to have just about running its course where I fish Accontink, but I had a remarkably close encounter with a beaver the other morning, marred only by a discarded tire.

Now I am embarrassed. I have been trying to add a "please release" footage and message to the end of my Accotink Creek videos, but forgot to do so for this one. The creek definitely seems to get fished out well before the opening of the official harvest season (or perhaps the beavers have become piscivorous). Thanks for stopping by!
