Hi Rion, we just came back from Japan and took the Keisei Line all the way from Narita airport to Asakusa (near our hotel). Super convenient and not expensive! However, we boarded the train at Terminal 1 (first stop) and because there are no seat reservations, it made a HUGE difference. We got to sit while those boarding at Terminal 2/3 had to stand for most (if not all) of the ride. For anyone also going from Narita - Terminal 1 to Asakusa, I highly recommend the Keisei Line 😊
@@rudymasato2968when you exit out of the arrival gates, follow signs that say "Train". Take the escalators down and continue following the "Train" signs until you reach the ticket machines. Purchase tickets from the machines using cash or an IC card. I should clarify that we used the Keisei Narita Skyaccess. Not the main line (cheaper but too many stops) or the skyliner (reserved seats but more expensive). I don't believe you can buy skyaccess tickets online. Then follow the orange signs to Keisei Access Limited Express to the correct platform. There are also some youtube videos that will show you exactly where to go.
Seriously consider taking the Keisei Bus @1300Y ticket at the airport, lot's of buses 🤗 ... ahhhh the ease of transfer from directly outside the arrival doors of Narita airport to Tokyo station provided by luggage loading attendees, riding in air-conditioned comfortable seating, while enjoying the large-window sightseeing trip as you travel. 🚌 Only wish I realised how good the KBS was on my 1st trip rather than my 7th. Since then, it's now the only way I go ! ... From Tokyo station you can train to anywhere on the Yamanote Loop Line easily. BTW, big tip is ... stay close to a station on the Yamanote line - in hindsight you'll say that was GOLD 🥇
@rudymasato2968 when you exit arrival gates, follow signs that say "Trains". They will take you straight there. No I don't believe you can order online.
A tip on boarding the bus from Tokyo Station to Narita - check which Airport Terminal you will be disembarking i.e. Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 or Terminal 3 - this is for your luggage to be stored by the bus staff to the correct compartments and will greatly help when you disembark and need to retrieve your luggage bag
Thank you for posting this video! I'm planning to go to japan later this year and am super worried to be in a country where i don't know the language, and I'm worried that i'll get lost but seeing this video gives me confidence that I'll be okay!
Your videos are always so informative, thank you Rion. We have only ever landed in terminal 3, had no idea the other two terminals had so much happening! We have taken the bus to Tokyo station before which was great 😊
Hi rion, love your videos would able tell where I can get bus from narita airport to Asakusa Tobu Hotel . And from Asakusa Tobu Hotel to which station take bus to narita
Just returned from Tokyo, my 9th trip to Japan ... Narita Terminal 3 is now so LESS busy, I couldn't believe it. In November 2023 I thought it might have just been a slower day but again in March 2024 same thing again 😮 Not sure why 🤔 is there less airlines flying in/out of T3 or what's going on ... No matter what I'm loving it 🤩 ... Narita T1 is certainly busy but if you're flying on the low cost carriers and arriving departing out of T3 it's now a breeze 🛫🛬👌 Still, I prefer flying in/out of KIX Kansai when staying in the west/south of Japan 🗾 I'm flying in/out again in May 2024 😊 #10
Although I prefere Haneda Airport your video dealing with Narita was interesting, as well. It seems that this airport is even more crowded than Hanrda. It is obvious that it is larger and more frequented by worldwide companies. It is so sad that there is no blooming of main Sakura for there is more rain and the temperatures are lower than usual. Still I hope that so many travelers who have just arrived targeting the Sakura season will be able to enjoy it. Those who have missed it will have to try another time. Your pasta meal seemed yummy and the strawberry desert looked delicious, as well. The night observation deck was also inviting as well as your return to Tokyo while riding on a fancy Narita Express. The Marinuchi square is always beautiful but at night it has a special flair. Thanks for another interesting video. TIll another one matane and GAOOOO....
Oh my, password is not easy for me to remember!😂 Hope to see sakura in bloom in your next video, maybe in Osaka or Kyoto?😊 You hair looks good, short or long or permed! 🦁
Hi Rion! I'm so excited to go to Japan in a few weeks!!! Its our first time. This video is so helpful because we are arriving at Terminal 2 Narita airport. I hope to see :) Thank you so much!!!!!
Thanks Rion. We came and leave via the Narita Airport T2 2 weeks ago. It was crowded then, but your visit seemed to be more crowded. Luckily we have avoided this Sakura rush. We booked our transit to Ueno by Skyliner train online, but didn't know there is a better option to reach Tokyo station by bus. Thanks for the info again. And yeah, we chose to go Narita Airport cos the flight there is cheaper than go Haneda Airport. We will come back to explore your home town at Osaka on our next trip. Kanpai !
I remember this airport. 😄 It was fun to explore while waiting for a flight! ✈️ The gashapons are always fun to see, there are so many different ones! The Pokémon store looks great and your spaghetti looks yummy. 🍝 😋 Great job making another fun and helpful video, Rion! Safe travels and Happy Easter! 🐣

i noticed that there is no more narita express tickets available for 21/4 on KLOOK for early morning trains (7am - 9am). Is it still available if i purchase them over the counter , not sure if they are already open or via the vending machines. Where are the vending machines located at terminal 1?
Went to japan during January 1-January 12 took taxes to Narita airport don’t know how to take train or bus to airport this will help me for my next trip in Japan😊 I visit Osaka ❤️ their takoyaki were pretty good
Your airport videos are always an adventure. Airports are a favorite place of mine to visit. Arigatougozaimasu, Rion, for the many bus and train travel tips. They're very much appreciated. I'm looking forward to watching your sakura videos during the next few weeks. Let's keep walking! ✈️👍
Wow,airport in Japan actually can be interesting like mal too 😁. Been to Narita last 2017 and Haneda last 2019. Japan is the best country for holiday! 👍
Hi Rion! I prefer Haneda cuz it's closer to Tokyo! But I almost had to fly into Narita and leave from Haneda but got lucky and now I don't have to go to Narita 😂 Not that I don't want too but just seems so far away! 😅 But flights into Narita from the USA seems a bit cheaper so maybe in the future, I might have too. Thanks for the video ❤😊
Thank you for the video! From Narita, I believe the Keisei Line has 2 types of trains (Access Express which takes 55 mins for 1k+ yen and Rapid which takes 1h+ for less than 900 yen i think) I always go to Platform 1 in Narita T1 :) Cheers!
I am obsessed with your videos!! I am heading to Tokyo tommorrow night with my 4 year old and I've been binge watching all your videos for Disney, Team Labs and transport. I hope to use this shuttle bus that you've shown to go to Narita. With my 4 year old will I need to buy a ticket for her for this bus? Or I just tap on for me with the Suica card and she can go for free on the bus?
My weakness is pasta, and your pasta meal looked really delicious! 😫 😂 Yes, I'm excited for the Shinkansen ride to Osaka and the beautiful sights. Thanks for your hard work. PS- Your hair has grown so much, and I think it looks great on you. I'm still low-key envious tho😆 🤣
Wow, so cool to finally see the inside of the Narita Express Train-it’s bigger and fancier than I thought. 🚇 I didn’t know about the hakama; its solid color pleats contrast beautifully against the kimono’s colorful patterns. 👘 Also, seriously impressed with your sense of smell-you could have a career in creating perfumes (especially for hotels 😆👍).
