Donny can you do anything to help a McCullough 15 with performance . They run good but very slow and weak . Just so you know Walkerized is legendary even in Tennessee.Thank you sir ! Ken
Ive only just made them run good had never thought of more performance one but good idea maybe i will try something on a mini mac i might have a 15 will check my pile of minis
i picked up a mini mac 130 for 5 bucks at a yard sell and yes that throttle lever is a bugger probably the most difficult part you got to man handle that plastic part the get the lever to snap in place and it feels like you have to break it i done the best with my motor i couldn't get to the piston i got all the bolts out but the cast just wont come apart also there is 1 screw that was stripped to get the carb off so i could fully clean the bottm half of the carb all in all it was areal fun project
I bought a tote of basket case saws. I was after some Poulans for parts for my Wild Thing hot saw but in the bottom was 2 eager beavers and one mini mac. ( I also have a mint NOS mini mac 35) There was one 90% together eager beaver that runs but the other two saws are torn down. Im considering using one extra engine to port etc and put together a hotter mini mac to play with.
Thanks for the videos I was recently given and old mini Mac 130 that someone left sit out in the weather for a while I cleaned it up and poured some gas in the carb got it to run but fuel line was rotten and it needs carb rebuild kit do you know if the later 130’s still had points ? Was wondering what you ended up doing with this little saw if you ever ported it? Thanks
I have a bad coil on my Dad's old Mac 110. Sparks for about 45 seconds, then weakens and stops. Otherwise in great condition. How do I get a new ignition coil for this? Is there some sort of aftermarket that works? Thanks.
Question my McCulloch 120 Mac is missing the chain brake system I was wondering can I just buy another side cover with a chain brake system on it install it and it will work or no
I’ve got a 1982 110 I’m restoring, it needs a new coil there are no identification marks on the old coil other than (type 5) on the bottom. I did find an old parts list and the part number for the original coil is #84957, but I can’t find anything new that is identical looking to the old one. Does anyone know of an available substitute coil that would work for this saw?
