I tested out the Crab one, because I noticed that the song they had you play was Ode to Joy. It's definitely not going to teach anyone theory, BUT it might make a passable game IF they redid it to play the song correctly and in tempo, once you pass each level. I did the next to levels, but couldn't tell what the songs were supposed to be.

edit: so um subs will be added later for some of their videos and i didn't know that so soz for the confusion
i think that they add the subtitles a few hours after the video's been uploaded! new two setter so i can't say if this is a regular thing, but i noticed that this happened with the most recent video, too (no subtitles for the first few hours, and then it gets uploaded a little later). i think having subtitles late is a regular thing though. i had to help out with generating them in an internship with another vlogger, and uploading a video to yt before adding closed captions is a lot easier than uploading them together. yt generates subtitles automatically a few hours after a video's been processed, so it's easier to go back and edit it when it's already been generated, as opposed to writing them from scratch. i will say that i'm surprised they don't just upload it earlier but kept in private/scheduled to have the subs generated & edited in advance though, because it's something we used to do at work before. but i guess they might be on a tight schedule right now haha.

Hi Brett, Eddy and Ling Ling, you guys are awesome. When will you do the next video performing more of the 2,000 compositions that were sent to you by your fans? That's a lot of effort by the fans and the ones you showed already were great. I'm sure I'm not the only one that would love to hear more of those original pieces. Or at the very least, can you make them available on your website so your followers can play them and post them?
I wish they can react to like the best music apps. Or maybe try out Pianista. I just really like that game. It’s what got me into listening to classical music and also what made me love the romantical era of music

Hey, I want to thank Brett and Eddy for getting me into classical music. I always used to listen to a few of the common ones, some Mozart and stuff. But I'm listening to so much more now and it's wonderful.

Video idea: you guys should review solo violin VSTs, like the Joshua Bell Violin, NI Strad, EastWest Hollywood Orchestra, Cinematic Studio Strings, etc. There's a LOT out there.
As someone who started learning how to play an instrument late and how to read sheet music early, I honestly think that the crab game would’ve been helpful for me. It might be because I found it difficult to read the sheet music and actually play at the same time. I think that it would’ve helped me learn, at least, how to do play and read better.

Hello All I use 3 Apps : String Quartet Sight Read, Music Notes and Simply Tuner. I do think those 3 are ok. The first one is for beginners who start violin but never got to music class. The second one is just a sight reading test sheet. You just need to try to read as fast as you can . I usually do it after the first one. And the latest is just a string tuner. Try giving it a try if you can
You should try "pianista" is not an app with a real real piano, but the levels of finger coordination is awesome and I have a lot of fun with it.
