Not many cars can make a porsche look like they are in eco mode. Shows how quick they are when Jamie was surprised it left with him. Amazing race lads 👏
All tuned cars at that level will kill any 992 turbo s..turbos s is the king of mid level tuned cars...the real beast are running 260mph in half mile..no porsche is even near

@@kevinespinal7766 hahaha that car did a 9.97 once and cant break 9s now hence the power up. With 1000bhp it should do low 9s depends how it puts power down.
Andys is built for 8.5s 1/4s or lower.
Think youll be surprised mate what the Teg will get with extra power. Its how it gets put down he will struggle more than u think

Weight literally makes no difference. Look at the leader board and cars with similar power are as fast or faster 100 - 200.

Subbie took some time to hit peak boost / torque, 911 had it from the start of the roll.

“Brought a knife to a gunfight”, pretty much sums it up. That Subaru is no joke, really really impressive. The 911 is no slouch either, with just a tune and an exhaust to be running those times, sheesh.. another great video Jamie, as always.
It's not only the car that won, Andy is an absolute legend.
Under 10s 1/4 with a tune and exhaust, that only shows how capable these cars are. Yet can be used daily and it looks gorgeous

I fully understand Andy's reluctance to run the quarter, it's his race car and when it doesn't feel right, trust your gut, BUT I'd have loved to have seen what time it would have finished with considering he went 3rd while coasting 🤯

Andy Forrest’s own Impreza holds a world record of 7.7 on the quarter mile, uses an SVX engine which I believe was a 3.3 litre boxer 6, was around 1050 bhp but no weight at all, nothing could touch it, his 7.7 is on you tube. 💨💥

I got to hand it to you Jamie you put tons of thought into your episodes to keep it really interesting. When the power to weight ratios came up I really felt you had your work cut out. But the 992 911 Turbo S’s are insane so I was hoping for the 911 to give a gaporoni to the Scooby ! The 911’s desirability is off the chart so give me the 911 and your one looks epic , stance , wheels and colour ! Perfection mate 👍

Sorry but after seeing an STi with those stats, it was unquestionable. Car’s got Subaru AWD, DCCD and almost 1k bhp. What’s even more insane that it weighs less than 1 ton. The car has a higher bhp/ton ratio than the bhp it actually puts out. That is absolutely crazy.
Car is probably one of the fastest in the world that’s not a full out drag car. GC chassis for even lighter weight and to have less stock electronics to mess the build. Damn
