Mad respect to all here. The R35 platform is getting long in the tooth but still delivers, with a bit more seat time this one will only get quicker. The 911 has moved the game up and punches above its stats every time. The bike is right there despite being near-stock (and a virtual fist-bump to Jack for working the hardest on the day).
Most of all though, it's great to see three guys messing about, no egos, just having some fun with their toys. Legends.

Awesome as always. I saw a standard Porsche, the same model as yours, a few years ago at the Brighton speed trials and was astonished at how well it puts the power down and goes so no surprise to see your tuned version do so well.

@@laidbackracing5559 an ES750/ES800 Turbo S in general does the same times 100-200 as 1000hp GTRs. They’re not as fast as you think they are, people seem to forget the weight of them
@@V3LOCITY__ In Roll Racing the weight of vehicles are negligible. Have you heard of weightlessness before? Please research what it is. From a 40/60 roll the weight of cars are out of the equation. It’s the gearbox and engine at work
@@caramelopapi6221 the weight of a car is always in equation. If it wasn’t then cars that make the same power but weigh completely different would accelerate the same. Example… if the Porsche was 1075hp like the GTR it would be in the 3s 100-200, because it weighs 150kg less whereas GTRs at that power level do mid- high 4s on a good day
@@caramelopapi6221 also another example which has been proven. Stage 2 F8X M3/4 at 560-570hp would keep up with and slowly walk away from a GTR at 650-700hp. Once again, 200kg difference

Yeah, definitely, crazy to think how fast that bike accelerates with the amount of tyres contact in comparison to a car.
210 bhp and weights 200kg crazy.
And R1's are one of the slower 1000's, S1000, RSV4, Ducatis are all quicker
It actually shows how fast these bikes are, they're essentially stock and going against some of the fastest road cars most people will ever see.

The 2022 newer bone stock R1 does 100-200 km/h in 3.7-3.8 seconds in 2nd gear
Even in third gear 2022 R1M does 100-200 kph in 3.9 seconds

S1000rr and v4s sound way better, seen multiple on track days, R1 isn't so popular though in the race scene

@@robb5828 The RSV4 is the one that really makes the right sounds and they're not all that expensive compared. All current bikes are $pendy, however.

Loved this video!! Without meaning to be rude or disrespectful the driver of the GTR didn't look very confident driving. Whether or not that is being a worse/new driver or daredevil I leave to chance, but just saying the confidence in your eyes tells you a lot about how a driver perform under pressure. I really need to get my crazy wagon over there to beat the 911's 1/4 mile time. 😅

I just wish he started out in the right gear with the R1. No reason he couldn't launch at 10,000 RPM in 1st gear to get the 10+ foot hit which is all he needed to win.

Riding since 1996, back in the days it was unnegotiable, the bikes were unbeatable. No question about it. Nowadays cars are very very fast and they give results without the need to be experienced driver. Amazing!
Man Porsche is a Porsche. That was very unexpected, I thought the R1 was going to walk both of you lot. Absolutely incredible! We keep saying it over and over, the 911 Turbo S is a fucking weapon, period.
True but compare it to a bike that costs a bit more like an h2 or h2r . That r1 is lightly tuned . Its almost stock
Would love to see a similarly tuned R1 with a longer swingarm so he can get on full power earlier. Those cars are insanely fast! Props to OG for more brilliant content.

Not gonna I was nervous as hell one launching my car as never done this before and 2 being on camera 😆 I definitely wasn’t sleeping how could you in a gtr I can tell you that was really hard to activate rolling launch and get it right for the start line I wasn’t the best at it but was my first time 🤘 but anyway I take my hat off to jack and Jamie both drove the hell out there car and bike full credit to you both

Awesome race mate , the Porsche is probably the best car you can have on a launch ... that weight over the rear end helps loads 😀 On another note i think you should make it mandatory for owners to start showing their claimed figures on a dyno if allowed to race , couple of them have clearly been BS and makes it no fun 😂
