Thanks man. Having a blast making videos, tutorials and webinars for Cartoon Animator. This software can do so much and its fun to keep exploring it and sharing the knowledge with the CTA community.
Garry is the King! Thank you for sharing these tutorials with us. I learned lots of tricks again. E.g. I never imported a whole scene into CTA. This PSD import is a very practical way.
But the good news is, its not a difficult process. How difficult the prcoess is, really only comes down to how detailed you want your project. But anything can be achieved.
so what next for cartoon animators in 5.1 whenever that is i can't wait to see going to get into a cartoon animator 5 over the weekend working on a few project in clone 8 and unreal right know
The only thing left out or unexplained is how do i put an original character into CTA5???? Without selling the character or buying one! Please let me know thanks!
He imported a character via a psd and rigged it. Explaining it along the way. Draw your character, break him up into layers, save as psd. Drag the psd in cta and rig it.
This program is a rip off. In my opinion!!!! In order to make it operate correctly you have to have a SUBSCRIPTION to ADOBE THERE'S LITERALLY NO WAY AROUND IT. Older programs have no functionality with CTA5! Long story short get adobe subscription and forget CTA5! I don't care what you ppl have to comment. It's a waste of money! I was also told by adobe CTA5 is an old version of one of there animation packages. And customer service really is non existent. I don't like subscriptions but you really get what you pay for here. I spent almost $400 on a program I'm never going to use. No refund. This company I feel misrepresents itself!!!! Don't waste your time like I did.
Absolutely. Cartoon Animator has many uses. You can create an animated series, a motion comic, a comic strip or anything else you can think of. This software has no limits!
No such thing as a dumb question. Only questions we dont know the answer to yet. Absolutely you can animate all your own art. Create characters, backgrounds, props, effects and more!
I also have a question I don't have the answer to yet. Can I save my own characters from my illustrations to use in multiple projects? If it's a yes, and not followed by a 'but', send me a link to buy.
Absolutely you can. You can build a custom character, save it, and use it in multiple projects. You can even change or customise the character as required. But.............. just kidding. No buts. @@nibs4070
The main focus of Cartoon Animator is to make 2D animation fast, easy and fun. I like that I actually enjoy making 2D animation with CTA as much as I enjoy the quality of the projects I can produce. As one person, and not a team of illustrators, movie makers and animators, CTA gives me everything I need to be able to produce 2D animation on my own at high quality and at a fast pace. If you really want to see how fast CTA makes 2D animation, check out the new Motion Pilot tool added to CTA5.2
A well constructed tutorial. Thanks for this.
Garry is on fire! first this. next the webinar! cant wait to see more

Can one create one's own characters with Cartoon Animator 5?
Absolutely! I have created over 500 original characters for CTA.
Would you be able to just make a animated series with instead of just motion comic?
Absolutely. Cartoon Animator has many uses. You can create an animated series, a motion comic, a comic strip or anything else you can think of. This software has no limits!
with your expertise on CTA, would be willing to pay a nominal fee for additional insight on mastering cartani
I have a dumb question: can you upload your own digital drawings and then animate them with this software?
Yes. You can import svg, png, psd, and many more popular formats :)
