mann u guys are underrated 😭💕💕thankyouu! i was litterally just searching for an alternative of Spine 2D
pleasure!!
What’s a free motion graphics alternative to animate raster graphics like from procreate for example?
I have cartoon animator 4 so if I upgrade do i get additional discount?
would be possible to animating 8 direction in a isometric view?
Can you compare this to Adobe Character Animator?
Do we have to create an entire animation with just Cartoon Animator (plus Ps or Illustrator or similar), or just parts of it? Can we use After Effects also?
Absolutely you can use other software. CTA can be used as one tool in your animation arsenal. You can export your animations from CTA to work on them in post production and add effects and more.
The way the character walks in the cartoon animator software is like sliding, like a Mike Jackson dance, how can you animate it differently?
How does this compare to moho and adobe animator?
Does this support exporting to Gif or Sprite sheet for game development?
Would like to know if you can make animations and export it to unity for example
It's great in presentation. A few years ago I switched from Anime Studio(now Moho) to Character Animator. It was a painful process. I'm switching back!
For 2d animation it is absolutely great but The grease pencil animation of blender has one big advantage that we can draw over 3d model directly which is a huge advantage because you dont have to imagine something staring at 2d canvas. Also we can convert any edges of 3d model directly to grease pencil. It feels working in 3d even while doing 2d animation and with time it will be updated with blender development. Sooner or later will be combine with the procedural system of blender geometry nodes so i will stick to grease pencil until i have to dedicately do 2d animation which will require to learn it from scratch. Please collaborate with blenderguru for these comparisons as he know blender and 2d painting very well and can give more insight on this.
Grease pencil is fine for those with illustration skills. But not everyone has that. Cartoon Animator gives everyone, even those with zero illustration skills, the ability to produce quality 2D animation because it uses a puppet cutout system for its actors, and you can apply professional premade motions to your actors which give incredibly smooth results by simply dragging and dropping them on to your characters. When it comes to animating something like a walk cycle, which can be quite difficult and time consuming, with Cartoon Animator you can create that in exactly two seconds thanks to premade motions.
@@GarryPye It's unclear how much you pay for those premade motion sets though. Is it in the $149 or $3K only package?
@@celestepalm6949 CTA comes with many motions built in already. In addition Reallusion has weekly sales where you’ll pick up great prices on these and more. But the original pricing for motion packs is more than reasonable for the value you get the time they save you keyframing in my opinion. Pack prices vary and can be found in the Content Store.
I agree with this it's unclear mean while blender is free :D@@celestepalm6949
Wow never thought about that. How do u think it will work with Blender forks like Goo Engine, upbge, Armory 3D?
Is it possible to animate characters generated by Midjourney in Cartoon Animator 5?
You AI people sure are talentless, can't even figure something that simple out huh?
Where is the link of this app
im so happy.
I've owned this software for over two months now, and I haven't been able to import a single graphic file successfully. SVG files keep coming in all black (RGB color palette). So far only works with their graphics. In fact, every tutorial video I've found has only used animator's graphics. I would not recommend it!
It’s a terrible software for new beginners or even advanced animators. Their courses teach terrible animation (no real characters) just spring and other really simple animations. Their teacher Mark Diaz is so slooooow and makes so much mistakes during the course and takes so long to get to his point which can be summarized in 20 seconds.
He makes terrible animations that are not useful and doesn’t even teach the person to really animate a character, but rather transform the character from a frame to another. I highly not recommend this for learners. And this video is highly misleading as you can use their pre-animations only on their library characters.
WOW THX YOU JUST SAVED ME SOME MONEY bLACK FRIDAY OR NOT. thX@@mrrix7989
@@mrrix7989 oops, you've been so hard in the software and the teacher too. 😅
Ao is this bettwr than toonboom?
great video
Glad you enjoyed it
Hello sir please help me please provide me crack version cartoon animater 4 main ise crack version hi use kar raha tha lekin window curropt hone ki vajah se mera kat gaya hai plae sie provide me crack version
Cartoon Animator 5 has an extremely big learning curve plus you must have additional knowledge of third party software.
I would disagree with that. Having worked with most other 2D animation packages over the years, I finally settled on Cartoon Animator because it was easier to learn than the others I had tried, yet still gave me the results I need. As for needing third party software, you will need that if you want to create your own characters, backgrounds and content, since CTA is not an illustration program. But it does come with a lot of free content to get you started and Reallusion has a 2D Marketplace where you can purchase more content from independent developers (this is what I do).
@@GarryPye You need realty check. You can't give a real objective opinion on Cartoon Animator.
Of course I can, Daniel. I have been using Cartoon Animator for 12 years. I was a customer of Reallusions and an independent content developer long before I became the 2D Community manager. Ive used every 2D animation software imaginable, and all of them are fantastic. I just happen to choose Cartoon Animator because its the one that does the job I want, the way I want it done. You will never hear me say a bad word about any other software or saying that Cartoon Animator is an overall better 2D animation software than any of those. They each have their pros and cons. What I can do, as an experienced user and developer for the software is to tell people what I like about it and then let them decide for themselves. Wouldnt that be the most objective way to share an opinion?
You may have changed your TH-cam channel name, but you didnt really think I wasnt going to recognise you after all these years, did you? If we're going to have this dance again, my friend, just know, I up to the challenge.
Moho or Animator? Who's the best?
The 'best' 2D animation software is the software that does the job you want efficiently and fast. There are lots of different software options out there and they all have good and bad points, depending on what you want to achieve. In my mind, Cartoon Animators (CTA) advantages are the premade motions that you can just drag and drop on to characters for instand motion results, and the fact that CTA does all the in between frames for you, saving you hours and hours of tedious keyframing.
I always wanted to try for playing myself as some animated character 😹👍.
I also draw my own furry comic arts 🖋️🖊️✏️🖍️ 😺👍.
Plus, i'm your channel subscriber from
Vantaa, Finland 🇫🇮 😺👍.
Welcome my friend!
This was a terrible video for an introduction for 2D animation software.
While I understand you are mesmerized by new features to speed up animation, many of them look cheap. What I wanted to know is
1. Does Cartoon Animator support 'onion screens' for inbetweening?
2. Does Cartoon Animator support multiple layers?
3. Does Cartoon Animator have tools for drawing straight lines?
you took forever to start talking about the software
🤣😂
I wish these videos got to the point rather than rambling garbage. Literally every video I click on is the same!
