What an absolutely marvellous achievement Colin. I started watching these just cos I'm nosey and a friend of mine is thinking of buying a boat. It became compulosive viewing. Some time ago I was thinking of going into woodworking but didn't (medical/safety reasons). During that time (researching) I created the ultimate (imo) workbench with all of the tools built into three modules (flip up, pull out, swing up or out) with them in order of use (table saw, jointer, planer, etc...), including storage for power tools, electrical outlets and tubing for dust removal and other features also built in. ;-) The modules (or together) would be able to roll around

One of your Vlogs popped up on trending Colin, so having an interest I thought I'd watch from the very start of your journey and here I've arrived at number 30. I think your amazing mate. Some builders have been in the game all their lives and couldn't match this level of quality and workmanship, your imagination and eye for detail is superb. That's another brilliant tip, full back hinges and small doors, I was thinking lots of drawers on a boat, as I kinda imagine it will be like dodgem cars on the canals sometimes, with lots of flying objects, but then I am a salty water sailor, and lumpy waters are normal. PS, I'd love to be skillful enough to drill the door catch holes with confidence. It would be a very nervous moment.

See, my seven year old son's humour is on this level but I am a grown up. I laugh politely to humour him when he comes out with stuff like this but I keep in mind that I have to teach him how to grow past it, also. So, I guess my question is, how did you get to be an old chap without ever growing up?

I found that without the brass keepers the ball catches wear a groove in the wooden frame. A bit of a pain to fit them all but saves the frames.

Great video yet again Colin...did you use water based paint on your kitchen cupboards?
