With UK roads, I'm riding my gravel bike more and more (same tyres as yours)! I just find it so much more comfortable. You can still ride fast on the road on one, just takes a whole lot more power. Managed just over 20 mph average for a ride couple of weeks ago but took 328w average to do it!!! lol I really like your Marin gravel bike, looks great!
Hincapie Loop was our first ride in Girona. It was brilliant, just like all the riding there. Hilari Sacalm climb is another beautiful one, the descent is amazing. Can’t wait to go back next year.

Great ride and video! I think those yellow flowers are rapeseed (often used to make canola oil). "Colza" according to wikipedia in spanish. We have them here in Sweden too, didnt know they grew in Spain also. Although they won't start blooming here for another month or so at least. One of the best parts of spring! I have never cycled near the fields though. (Only driven by). But definitely will try to cycle to them now after being reminded how fragrant they are let alone pretty!

Just found you and love the channel! Been riding the train for some time now after a minor bike tumble a few years back. Now I just fixed my old one speed commuter bike and was reminded of how much i love cycling. I really want to get a gravel bike for a speedy and fun commute to work on the rough roads of stockholm. I never had a nice bike with a load of gears and stuff, but i really want to get into it and maybe go on longer bikepacking trips through europe in the future, as well as exploring some trails here in stockholm. I’ve been eying the Marin Nicasio because of it’s slick looks and attractive pricepoint. Do you think it’s a bike that can get me going for starters, and then keep developing on for a couple of years with the help of some upgrades here and there? Excuse the wall of text! Thanks for the inspiration!
Have a look at Tristentakevideo who Everested by doing some 30 repeats of that climb! Did you stop by the Service Course shop while you were in Girona?
Shut it, you are always, as ever, gorgeous! Esp. for those that follow the channel, a fantastic athletic gal that likely is as amazing poured into a LBD as cyclist kit.
Beautiful loop! Ps if you have an extra GroPro you should lend it to your bike partner and hang it in the back of his saddle so he can film you riding 🚴🏻♀️ you can control the filming with a remote.
