I'm in the UK and GCN are a bunch of skinny roadies, obsessed with weight and speed. Well, maybe that's not entirely fair but anyway, you guys are real. All the best.
"Every bike is a road bike"🤣
I would call this another classic Russ.👍👍👍
You guys are so awesome! Wish we could do a mass PLP ride somewhere in the world...... that would rock
I love GCN, but PARTY PACE IS WAAAAY COOLER.
Yes Sir!
You're so right!!!
Way more joyful too!
You folks make me smile! Hope for humanity! Good people all over :)
GCN should do a colab with you. They do some different types of riding, road and gravel. Some of their viewers most likely watch your channel too.
Already looking forward to your next overseas adventure. You folks show people in other countries the very best of how Americans can respect foreign destinations and cultures. Well done!!!
Laura, you're brilliant.👏 The last time i made a "rapha face" was having a tooth pulled. Oh man I'm still laughing at that comment. Although I do have to say that their shoes are the most comfortable I've ever owned. And "all bikes are road bikes". Yep, to ride miles of pavement to reach the trails is proper cycling IMHO. Great stuff guys, much 🧡
I mean props to Russ for saying/thinking it but Lauras reaction was spot-on. Still chuckling
Love the quick wink at the partypace sticker! Bold but delicious move for a fellow English major!
Like one of my friend said, we are too old to go back twice at the same place. I would strongly suggest Lagos in Portugal. Lot's of gravgrav with no cars and the beaches are amazing.
As a Portuguese i quite like Lagos as well. But incomparable in my opinion to "costa vicentina", 100km of beautiful beaches and cliffs full of gravel between Lagos and Lisboa.
For any of these try to go off season to avoid the crowds.
@@pyrkol And the Mata Nacional barao San Joao is also a nice place to ride gravel
Now that looked like a good time. A month has passed so soon. Thanks for the video and take care, Al
I really enjoyed this 'Girona themed' series, great to watch!, thanks so much for this and keep up the good work!
Quite lovely to see you two. I have been following you guys since 2010. Ride on and see you again on the road!
I’m glad you’ve had a great time, and loverly to meet you guys. Hopefully by the time you come again. We’ll be living there.
Roadie LARPing really got me! And I can't believe that Dr. Bridgewood and Mr. Payton didn't know your channel...they really should.
Love this video, thanks russ and laura, i really enjoyed this Girona episode.❤️
One of your best! The music during the descent back to town is rockin'!
Thanks for the ride!
Nice photography on this ride, Russ.
"Roadie LARPing" would make a great sticker/t-shirt!
Great video. Nice camera work and narration.
Have enjoyed a lot the videos about Girona, if you do come back to Spain check Mallorca, the other Spanish cycling meca, well known for roadies and a gravel paradise to be descovered.
I can’t wait for your Guide.
Great video! Thanks!
We watch both Path Less Pedaled and GCN, but we support you Russ!
Feel like I'm riding with you guys watching this video! Great content !
Hey Russ, love the videos. Can you do a bike setup video on Laura’s bike? I like the thumb shifter setup, but want to see it more clearly. Nice to see her back at 100%!!
Yet Another Bucket List Ride -- plus, Full Rapha Face 😄 Thanks PLP!
Strava Face. Luv it. 😂
Wonder if GCN have pinched your cycling destination idea? 😁
Tbf though why not...
Gorgeous ride.... again! 😃
🤣🤣there goes some cabeza de bebe 🤣🤣
Great trip! Party Pace all the way!
"Rapha Face"! 😂
....so true!
I prefer Path Less Pedaled to CGN any day!
PLP>GCN
A beautiful ride!
Please pardon my OCD, but I'm wondering what are gloves you're wearing. They like a brand I'm familiar with, but when I search, it's clear that it's not them.
Not sure the brand, but bought them off the Rivendell site.
@@PathLessPedaledTV Thanks for the tip! I've got the Plane Bike version of these, which I like ok, but what you've got there looks a bit more padded, which seems like a great +.
I bet GCN writers are subscribed to your channel and are checking every TH-camr looking for new/fresh ideas. Not sure about the presenters though.

I am available, GCN
What bikes did you and Laura take?
Could u test the new ltwoo rx
Roadie LARPing. LOL!
In Girona they call many hills the Hincapi climb as Lance is forgotten for a reason 😂, especially by Americans
fancy coming to ride in Norway?
You’re way better than GCN, while they do present good topics, their elitist mentality is a major distractor to viewing.
Russ a side question: What brand n where did you get those gloves?
Altura still make classic crochet mitts…
@@yakoridesagain thx for the insight!
I cant be the first to day this, but Im gonna out this out there. Are you going to put your Party Pace to the test and come out here in the midwest for RAGBRAI?
What gearing is on your bike?
People in cars in Holland, Spain and France are (on average) much more careful and considerate than in the U.K. - where a more aggressive attitude to cyclists exist. I can’t speak for other European countries as I have not cycled anywhere else yet. Belgium next! Oh and the video and link is on the GCN app!
Love these vids guys, been subscribed for a long while and it was a thrill to see you here in Catalunya. I struggle to find royalty-free Catalan music for my vids too! If you come back, check out the endless gravel trails of the Priorat and Prades Mountains - way prettier and less pedalled than Girona Province. check my ride vids and I’d be honoured to point you in the right direction. You could crash here too on our goat farm…
Could I get your gpx from Girona, PLS?
Party pace > GCN
When i see videos where people coast on downhills i instantly subscribe coz that’s how its meant to be. I mean who are you chasing 🙄
I think I caught a glimpse of some single track. I would love to ride there.
And GCN makes boring useless content in comparison to PLP.
GCN who?
Party Pace > GCN
Factual statement
Your partner is sitting very upright for a drop bar bike.
There’s a range of fits. Not everyone has to eat the stem when they ride.
@@PathLessPedaledTV okay, I didn’t mean for my comment to offend in any way. It was just an observation….
GCN too much up their own arses just like nearly every road bike rider. when passing one dont expect a good morning or hello. pass a mountain biker or tourer and youll get an acknowledgement even a friendly chat and share a coffee talk bikes . keep up the great work PLP
