Great hike again. Nice to see the inner workings of a crescent cactus never thought they had wood in them. Happy the old crescent is still standing very resilient one. Beautiful blue skies and mountains on that trail.
I had one experience with Havalena, one of my dogs got beat up pretty bad before i got it to go away, yeah they are not part of the Hog, Pig, Pork Family, that’s for sure, they Bite like a dog can, very Vicious Animals whenever something enters their Territory!!! Good Video, Thanks!
You couldn't have picked a better subject. Saguaros are majestic. So huge and beautiful I swear that one could talk to them and they'd answer back. Love 'em!!

More Saguaro's then people in Aridzona. 2010 there were about 1.9 million saguaro in the national park. In 2020, he said that number went up to just over 2 million. That is only a small part of Aridzona. Tucson mountains, have more than that, San Pedro river basin to the east has millions of them also. While protected bye the state they are not endangered at all.
@@Iseekoutthetruth I've was born here, and I live in East Pinal county. On a large farm, and have access to thousands of acres. of which are covered with millions of these saguaro's. I have even sold some of them, You can get permits to move them in Aridzona. I've been here so long I renamed the state.
There are so many of them in East Pinal county you would never be able to count them all. They go on forever as far as the eye can see. Like an ocean of them covering everything

8:17. All the Saguaro ribs I've ever found I've taken lots of them and made walking sticks out of them. They're hard, stable, and strong!!

@@westcoasthiker76 What Do You Mean "points"?
Flint mapped pieces - projectile points - old stone tools etc from the hohokam people for example.
