Ana RR Yes, countries that got their tea by land from China, via the silk road, such as Turkey, India and I guess Portugal, all call it some variation on Cha, some call it chai. The countries that got their tea by sea, have a pronunciation from the Fujian dialect which was Te, so the UK calls it Tea, France calls it Te.

Taylor Monroe very good. But, Chinese doesn't often use verbs on their own, so you can say我 一边吃饭，一边写字 it is a little more like what a native speaker would say

Gregor McIntyre Hard to do this, if movie is boring, then we sleep, you can say 因为电影很无聊，所以睡觉了。But usually we can not do those two things at same time. smile and smile. If you have some question, you can ask teacher in hanbridgemandarin.
***** could you please do a video about the 儿化音, becouse I never know when to use it. I kown that it can be used in 哪儿 Vs 哪里 一点儿 vs 一点, and also in words like 花 that because 花儿. Other than these examples I really have no idea when to use it, thanks
Michael Scamihorn he touched upon it in today's upload. There is no difference in meaning really, it's just people in northern China (definitely Beijing) will use this 儿 form and people from south of china don't use it.
