Hi Rebecca. Thank you so much for this video. It has been so helpful. I was looking to purchase some templates in your shop which is shown as discounted for those who watch your videos but when added to the cart, it’s not discounted accordingly. Is there a code for the 50% off?
Hey there! At the time this was filmed, we had a sale. But it’s your lucky day, because the whole shop is actually 50% off right now for Valentine’s Day! No code needed!
Thank you for posting this! Have my first family photoshoot this weekend and was really worried about how to pose them. Definitely have some great ideas now!
This has been one of the most detailed / structured posing guide for family photoshoots that is truly enjoyable to digest and super exciting to put into practice! Thank you so much for making this video as I’m forever grateful.
Rebecca - you are absolutely the best! Your advice is pure gold and I’m learning a ton from all your videos!!!!! And I love your personality! You are a natural photographer and a teacher. Absolutely the best!
Great Video Rebecca. I’m new to family photography (literally…just getting started with family and a few friends) and your blog has been so helpful. I love your photos and am looking forward to more videos like this one. 😊
Great video! The "Ew" pose is definitely one I agree is so fun for kids! What kind of posing would you do for a family of 5 with the youngest being a newborn or a sitter? Curious to hear your thoughts. Keep up the great work!
I love doing the "swing" pose where mom and dad swing the little kid between them. It only works for kids up to maybe five or six, depending on how big they are.
Great stuff and awesome presentation! First time finding you on YT, just subscribed and picked up both your ‘Complete Family Posing System’ and 'Ultimate Client Experience Bundle' from your website. Thank you very much!
Thank you for this video. When you shoot a family session and take images of the children running around the parents, how do you get them all in focus, and what aperture? I usually focus on the person in the middle, but I'm not sure about this situation.
I'm a beginner Photographer about to do my first ever family photoshoot. Not too sure what they are looking for 🤷♀️. But do you have any advice for being a super beginner, although your video was super duper helpful!! Thanks
@@RebeccaRiceEducation turned out great! The run and hug prompt got the 3 year olds out of a funk and they were spirited afterwards Fired the entire shoot. Great tips!!!
Hello! I saw your video for the first time it was really good to learn thank you so much!! Also I love your pictures . How come your pictures are very light color soft color in the picture ? I’d like to take a photo like you💟
Hi Rebecca! This video was so helpful. I have my first family shoot and it's a young family of six. I'm super excited but not sure of how to keep the family engaged with all those Littles. I want to get some of them cuddled together on a blanket laying down what prompts would you recommend? Thank you for this video it was so helpful 🤗❤️
How fun! You could get them all to whisper secrets to each other! Or close their eyes and then count to 3 and all open at the same time. Tickle fight would be cute too!
Got any tips for family…older kids, all boys… cuz the holding hands example you have of the two teen girls holding hands with parents are nice but I can’t see the teen older boys holding hands lol . Any tips for this family dynamic ?

This was actually super helpful. I'm a cinematographer mostly, but I'm getting more portrait requests lately. Thanks for the helpful ideas!

I like your poses, so thank you for sharing that. I don't much care for the overexposed photo look.
Hello! I saw your video for the first time it was really good to learn thank you so much!! Also I love your pictures . How come your pictures are very light color soft color in the picture ? I’d like to take a photo like you💟
Hey there! I’ve got a video explaining how I get that light and airy style! th-cam.com/video/aEdKZ2HYlEk/w-d-xo.html
Thank you💟
how do you shoot single-parent families? my first family session is with a single mom and her two older sons. any ideas on how to pose them?
What f stop do you use when the family is walking towards you? Curious because I'd want everyone in focus as much as possible. Thanks.
I typically have my f stop at 2.8!
I would have really enjoyed this video more if you showed photo examples after each tip , I couldn’t visualize what you were talking about

@@RebeccaRiceEducation Those are great ideas!!! Oh thank you so much 🥰🤗❤️
Do you offer your clients a price sheet? If so do you have a template? I'm struggling with trying to create one.
No, I don’t have a pricing sheet. I only have one package, so it’s super easy to communicate to them without needing a pricing sheet.
💫💥🙌🙌
On your website it says you can buy the presets individually for $20 each, but I only see the 4-pack option for $197. Am I missing something?
Hey there! The $20 presets you mentioned have been retired. The only presets we’ve got available are the Light & Airy Seasonal Presets (pack of 4).
Got any tips for family…older kids, all boys… cuz the holding hands example you have of the two teen girls holding hands with parents are nice but I can’t see the teen older boys holding hands lol . Any tips for this family dynamic ?
You could have them put their arms around each other’s shoulders! Or mom and dad in the middle, boys all around with hands in pockets.
Love all these ideas.. except the hand in the pocket; for some reason that doesn’t work for me.. takes away the natural aspect in my opinion 🙂
Yes, everything is very good. But you are breaking the basic rules of composition
This is so helpful, thank you!!
