They put actual effort into the design of Despair’s costuming. One of my only gripes about season one is fixed. She finally matches the rest of the family’s aesthetic. Can’t wait for season two.
I mean, Despair in the comics always walked around naked.
I wished it was a little lighter of a gray and torn slightly but she looks fabulous so it's a win

@@okaythen1402 They're not supposed to. One is literally lust and desire personified, the other is utter hopelessness, not very similar, even if the characters are twins. And Delirium's entire aesthetic is not matching so
She looked worse in the comics.

@@thomasalexander-sg1dy No they aren’t. They contain specific things and are explained extremely clearly and distinctly by the both companies…but are more than just a “collection of Multiverses”.
@@thomaskilroy4573 Well, it does contain several dimensions and that contains some more things in between, but according to Marvel that is in summary, as an example when explaining what Yggdrasil is, or that Wanda created a chaos wave capable of destroying that.Also, in DC the term universe or multiverse can be used to refer to something complex.
The way I SHRIEKED seeing Destiny and Delirium. Beyond excited to see them in this new season.

I think they are all in their “family dinner” attire from Season of Mists comic in which I think delirium was dressed in almost all black; I think desire was the only one in red? Correct if I’m wrong it’s been a while
@@ctuero I think yeah. And Dream was in a crazy victorian goth pirate costume so um... yeah they changed that part. And they gave Despair literally clothing. Like miss girl is naked in the comic usually.
They didn't have to go that hard, yet they still did.

I'm especially excited for Delirium, just hope the outfit will have more colour in the actual series.
Also highly recommend Dead Boy Detectives.
I feel like this is the outfits for the family dinner scene since Death is usually a lot more casual, so hopefully Delirium will have her rainbow punk aesthetic later on
@@supernovaskies5044note that Gaiman is writing the series story so changes he makes will adapt with the era. Comic was 1990s, so this is 2020s so style for her will adapt to current era but hopefully maintain how she thinks/acts that matches it.

When it first was announced that this was going to be a show and that Tom Sturridge was going to play Morpheus, I nearly cried of happiness, because I had thought Sandman would be stuck in development hell forever and I had thought I'd never see Tom Sturridge play lead in anything again (I fell in love with him in The Boat that Rocked but then he's so rarely shown up on screen). And then the first season arrived, and was brilliant, and now just seeing Tom sit down on that throne makes me smile. Such a f*ing dream casting, pun entirely intended.

The cast for the new endless is phenomenal . I can't wait for the second season , and I hope Netflix renew The Dead boy detectives for another season , because all the characters in this universe has so many stories to tell 👏👏👏👏👏

I think they were all a bit more glamorous here cause (SPOILERS for DEAD BOY DETECTIVES) DESPAIR looked messy with a cardigan that looked like the crazy cat lady from Simpsons.
Even Delirium looks too sane. Hopefully this is just for promotional purpose.

This season Will show Orpheus, Calíope and probably Nada again (because The family Dinner lead to her). So I think ALL The family indeed (I'll not talk about The boy yet). Hope The writing and actors interpretations are on point again.

i think that delirium needs more colorful makeup tbh
She also seems a bit old. I always pictured her as more of a teenager or at least young looking. The audiobooks voiced her perfectly. She looks too mature and sexy in this.
really wish they hadn't made this a "Short", would have liked to see this full screen.
