Despair had an incarnation before the current one. Not much was said about her other than she seemed to be more self-confident than her successor and it was never explained how she died.
Despair had an earlier incarnation. At the Great Necropolis, it was explained that the man who was responsible for her death would suffer for Eternity.
Every white man can look like Alan if he grew enough hair and beard. But his eyes are unique. I'm kinda working on hair and beard, but I don't really believe in magic. Alan is a wizard. I don't believe in wizards, but I know that there are just a few real wizards in UK. Jaz Coleman is definitely one of those. They have this same gaze. I love Colemans music and I love Moore's comics. To me, and to so many others, they are the greatest artists of our lives. But I don't believe in magic. I'm kinda musician myself and I even wrote the song against their point of view. But, I love them so much. Alan is one of the greatest influences on Gaiman. He is the reason for him to get into the comics. Time is, definitely, an omage to him. Sandman is the greatest comic ever, but Alan is the greatest comic writer.
That explains a lot, because I was wondering how the fuck unity had children when in a sleep coma all those years. THATS CRAZY she got R worded by an all powerful being IN HER SLEEP AND STILL HAD GRAND CHILDREN wow 😐
i think you should have mentioned Desire BEFORE Delirium, that is the order. the order of the siblings: Destiny, Death, Dream, Destruction, Desire and Despair (the twins) and lastly Delirium. Delirium is the youngest of them all and said to be the least powerful (altho at times she proves otherwise) also, you should have pointed out more Desire and Despair beeing twins, and they also work toghterter as one without another is not possible.
The Endless are not embodiment of their names, they ARE what their names are. So death is not a representation of death, but IS death. Dream is not a metaphor of dream but IS dream. And so on and so forth. The comics stated that VERY clearly. Please get your facts right. thanks.
@@zawwin1846 That just doesn't change the fact that they all are who they are. Even if it's true that Dream is just one perspective. Since Dream of the Endless (Daniel Hall) says that he is not Morpheus or Oneiros but Dream and that he was always there. This is also confirmed again in Ouverture when Dream searches for and finds his father's watch and Time tells Morpheus that he got the watch back. BY Dream and not Morpheus (Dream)
This despair is also an incarnation, during the last volume Daniel hall (Dream II) speaks with his mother and says that the person who killed the first despair was cursed to live till eternity.
Daniel Halls father, Hector Hall, is the son of both Hawkman and Hawkwoman, then was reincarnated, then was the son of Hawk and Dove, thus being the embodiment of both Order and Chaos becoming the Balance. Then Daniel Hall's mother, Lyta was the daughter of Golden age Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor.
Just to be clear, the Jack Holdaway that Rose slept with wasn't the old man. It was the old man's nephew, who was also naked Jack Holdaway. You used the wrong photo. Look it up on the wiki
Yes? Maybe? "Prolonged" is probably a better word. They aren't full on Endless, and I don't think they have to follow the Ancient Rules, but they definitely would be more powerful than some demi-gods
they're not really specific gods, more so the personifications of abstract concepts. They are everywhere at all times, just as somewhere, someone is always dreaming, or dying, or despairing. But they have been known to certain groups by certain names throughout the history of existence. For example, Dream was known as Morpheus to the ancient Greeks and Delirium as Mania.

Hi love the vids keep up the good work
With all the family trees u make is the any connections to all the trees u do make it into one big tree ?
OK, but Orpheus didn't meet his father when he went to ask about Destruction, he had a relationship with him, that broke wen Euridice died.
In a family tree, you're traditionally supposed to show siblings in order from Eldest to Youngest, going from Left to Right

No he is correct, Dream of the Endless is Deam, Morpheus is just one personification or aspect of dream or point of view.

Lyta was also a hero and before the crisis was the daughter of Wonder Woman
I came here to find out if the child of lyta will be the second dream and i was right
Hey! You can almost not tell this is AI. Good job
Rose Walker had a kid?! How did I not know that!?!
Wonder how long it's gonna be in the Netflix adaptation until we see that
Still no season FKN 2 🤬😡
So can we call Dream and Desire's offspring Demi Endless because of their abilities?

Are they related to Greek Mythology?
Crazy family kkkkkk
Fr tho 😂
In what generation of gods is endless family

Do the Endless also represent the opposite of their namesake? Is Death really also representing Life? Wouldnt that make Dream represent Reality?
