I have to admit, I laughed out loud! I'm across the pond, and live in the Midwest. Tractors driving through town is something you see a lot of. 😁 Similarities remind us just how small our world is. 🤟 Great video, as usual 👌.
Another gem. So many lovely places to visit in the Cotswolds , how do you pick a favourite, they’re all so lovely. Bourton on the Water is a big favourite and Broadway, and now I’d like to visit Stow on the Wold after seeing your video , I like that you always make a reference to famous people who are connected to the places you visit, I like to know these things. 😂. I learn far more about the places you visit from you than when I’ve visit them myself.😄. Just one criticism of the video there wasn’t a DPD van, most unusual 🤣🤣. Great video you spoil us taking us to all these different places.
I lived here about 25 years ago. A unique little town with a lot of history. I’m guessing this was filmed quite early in the day as the traffic was quite calm. Usually it’s manic. For those wanting refreshments I recommend Cotswold Baguettes in Church street or Coach House Coffee in the square
This quiet hill-top town in the Cotswolds was once a bustling centre of the wool industry. Its importance grew in the Middle Ages because it stood at the junction of several main roads. Due to it being the highest town in the Cotswolds gives the local saying 'Stow-on-the-Wold, where the wind blows cold' probably explains why the buildings are bunched together.
Wow ! Such oldie worldly charm..when can I move here ?
Not a KFC , Poundland or Paddy Power to be seen..Perfect !
Exactly!
I completely agree with your comment. It's much better without any of those shops and betting shops 👍

You couldn't give these cottages away for free 100-150 years ago when the price of sheep wool plummeted in value..

Stopped off here for a loo break, didn’t actually get to see stow for all it’s beauty. 🙁
It's a nice place - lots more Cotswolds video to come this week
I admired to see in Cotswold a city without natur. They haven't trees or plants or gardens!!!!
True

Great point! Hadn't thought of that!
Can you tell me weather this lovely town is dog friendly please?
