It so similar word for biology "ViJa jeewawithaya" with sinhala word "Jeewawidyawa" wich is biology in Sinhalese. Those kind of similarities make easier to learn thai., not only that make interest.
Hello Thaipod101, I'm interested in learning about Thai language about topic "Royalty". Could you make such a video, please. I really look fordward to it!
@@zachtonator9797 thank you for your reply. I know that royal dialect is a hard part, but what i want to learn are some new words that Thai often use when talking about the Royalty. For example, which word means " a prince", "a queen",.. Something like that

Good work.. I think you should make a video explaining the difference in the structure of phrases between English and Thai. For me it was the number one thing that confused me when I first tried to understand Thai. For example ... not using pronouns I, You, He she.. And using your name as third person ..
I like all of Jay's videos, but I hear "Laaeo" a lot in different contexts. Can someone please explain what this word means or how to use it correctly? Examples: 16:30 , 18:30 , 20:55
you are doing great job but you have to explain each word which comes in every sentence ..then only it is useful otherwise we need to rehearse your sentences

Do you mean the dialect that used to the royals? Woah, that's hard you know. As a Thai, I even fail at this topic.

Thai buffalos are called water buffaloes.
whats the difference between “คุย” and “พูด”?
Definitions on Wiktionary:
คุย
1. to chat; to talk.
2. (informal) to boast; to talk big.
พูด
1. to speak.
คุย = two people talking , gossip , talk
พูด = Speech, pronunciation or what you say
So the person who wrote he / she speaks Thai after 1 year, then that person should also be able to read and write to understand.
hostess....hos tess (like lotus)
