His props aren't always faster. I've bought a few from Chris years ago and I have props that I've s/b that are actually faster and balance better than his props but you newbs eat it up

It's just the body of water I run my boats in on a daily basis The pond is small not ideal for setting world records. Lol. I'm fine with running my boats in the park pond but I guess it make me look bad since I'm not able to get high numbers which is what every o e want to see
@@IRONCLADRC it was a call out. I think it was great informative video with lots of information. Especially with desalting a boat and other options of props. I’m sure you had some fun with a challenge and a goal. Some like speed and some just want a good running boat. That’s what your videos offer. Good information to learn. We all know we have to push the limits at least once. Hahaha.

Nice! Just a thought … I’d try to stay out from under those power lines. They can create enough EMI to cause radio issues.

I run two UV lights inside my SonicWake. Not only does it light up the cooling lines , but it also kills alge etc..

I bought the Oxidean 4519 based on your videos and hit 59mph first run and then a 60 next time out. Most recently swapped to an OSE 4519 and got my first 61mph but I did do trim adjustment. Using stock electronics, single 90c 6200 6s and Skyrc GSM020. Your vids made it easy to hit those numbers without any prior experience.
That veles 29 is sweet , might get one , but I’ll wait till you ironclad it out !!!!! And get your thoughts 💭 on it
The turning is putting me off . Straight away looks real nice out the box though !
The tip in the turn can be fixed it's realy only at low speed once the boat is on plane it turns with out a hitch

What prop will I get the best runtime out of on 6s ? At the same time keeping temps in a safe range. Just picked up a sonic wake V2 🤙🏻
I've been getting realy good runtime with the oxidean marine 4519 or octura 642
noticed in one of your other videos that you have a cap pack on the spektrum ESC. Does it come that way? What is the advantage?
To be honest I didn't really see a big difference with the cap pack the stock caps do just fine
I got 63 with a 646 prop and 7600 SMC’s and stock everything else. Cost me an ESC! 160a runs way cooler and I repeatedly get 60’s.
Great runs with the ABC'S, 61 is impressive!.I have the V1 with a TP 3650.As it has high torque, out of the ABC line up, any suggestion on prop size pitch to reach 60mph.? Thanks
I had good luck with the 1716 or 1715

Off subject but how about a wrap install by dark side graphics want to try it my self, looks way cool and my stock graphics on the v2 are less then perfect.
Yea.man the Darkseid wraps are insane looking. I may do it sooner or later once the stock graphics start to wear
You B, what punch setting do you use on the ose 150 esc. Just acquired one.
3-5 if it's a solid setup. If I'm testing a setup I usually run it on 2or3

I’ve watched a lot of videos on this boat and I never seen anyone else put tape on the outside haul is there a reason why you put it on there.i just ordered this boat and it will be my first RC boat
The river I do my speed runs in is fresh/salt water mix. No need for tape just playing it safe. Salt water is terrible for your boats
How exactly do you do the corrosion x? Before you even run it and dry you just spray it over all the electronics and everything in the boat? Thanks
No don't spray externally you have to open the servo receiver up and spray the computer chip. Don't get it all over your wire it will garden the plastic sheath
@@IRONCLADRC is that the only thing you’d recommend to spray? I’m getting a boat this week and may use it in salt water. I’m going to do all the after flushing out maintenance. I just also want to be extra protected with corrosion x and put it on the correct things
There is one thing you are missing in your collection of rc boats and that is a tfl genesis an absolute beast I have one and I run it on 6s and get 140kmh out of it its worth looking into it.

Thanks brother. It wasn't easy that's for sure 2-3days prop balancing/polishing 3 sets of packs & on location tuning. Plus the salt water cleaning. WORTH IT
When you say 17 16 is that 1.7x1.8 proo the same or am I way off base , anyway ran my v2 all stock in chop 5000 100 c twin packs forward best 45 mph
Basically the 1.7 is diameter the 1.6 is pitch.
Thinking about getting rclipo 6s 6000 120c, will the sw v2 stock esc handle the 120c ? Thanks
It will handle 120c but the rc lipo battery's aren't that great, especially if your looking for top end speed runtime isn't that bad

I does run in saltwater. That all we have.
I does much bigger props. Abc 2014 3 blade and abc 2014 2 blade.
I accustom to doing drag races accross 450 feet. I does use the raider 150 esc.
I am getting 56 to 57mph on 4s with motors like leopard 3674 2200kv.
The boat I am getting that speed with is the tfl pursuit. 32 inch boat.
The pursuit is a nice boat. . Those are some big props I bet it's fun

Hmmmmm. Another straight line video. I have no problem with that as such, each to their own as they say. But chasing ultimate numbers is not in my opinion what the hobby is necessary all about. It's the feeling of driving a model on the water knowing that everything it does, conditions depending is down to your skill / judgement.
I have other videos that are more pleasure oriented videos well all of my videos are basically based on promoting the rc boating hobby and all about having fun. Thanks for watching brother

Salt water is all around me it's everywhere, I this place is only 3 min up the road from my house. I've had terrible luck running my boats in Salt water. 9 times out of 10 it's the receiver that goes first.
