I know the new countach is quite polarizing for some but in my opinion it’s absolutely gorgeous

I like it too, would be even better with pop-up lights. With that said I think the people claiming it was worthy more than a rebodied existing vehicle have a good reason to dislike it. My problem is I see Aventador still too much.

They did a beautiful job on this.
While it looks nice, it is just a rebodied Aventador so that $3 million price tag is hard to swallow. it it was closer to $750,000 I think it would have gone over better.
yeah, but they only made a few hundred of those, same goes with pagani huayra versions(except the r version), these cars focus more on looks than performance.
It's hybridized with a super capacitor too so it's drivetrain is pretty different.
@@kishlayverma6622The Huayra is a more exotic car compared to the Aventador to begin with, there's no comparison there! Also, those body kit variants, like BC, Codalunga, Imola, you're talking about are just like body kit variants of some other car and are priced appropriately for an exotic hypercar. Lamborghini only made around hundred of these but they weren't all sold out at the time of unveiling like most other limited edition cars, it's like Lamborghini had around 100 body shells to put on an Aventador and add a small supercapacitor just to charge that extra 2mil premium! 🤦🏻
@@claimtofailNot very different from an Aventador, the supercapacitor was incorporated in the drivetrain just to fix the flaws of the single automated manual.

Man, I love that interior. In regard to the design, I think it looks very good, but for such an iconic model, they should have made it even more memorable. I've seen so many concepts and edited images online based on the Countach, many of those images had me dreaming they would do a remake. My expectations on this one were extreme.
The exterior is so stunning it's easy to miss how the interior is also a work of art. Not a lambo fan but it's definitely the best looking recent car that's being made. Everything is just insanely overcomplicated and childish. This is harmonious, elegant and respects the car heritage. Sporty and distinguished. Really rare!
Then there's the technology.
That white on white spec is super sick 🔥🔥
These are the types of reviews that will set you apart! Nobody has really reviewed this car yet. I wanted to see what’s up with it for sure! You could’ve delved into the review a little more adding details and stuff, but I get the time constraints. Great video!

At least with Sian/Countach, there is some new tech (capacitor.) they don’t share a single body panel.
Ferrari took the $400k 812sf engine and tranny and put a new body and asking $3mil

Love the new updated retro design. As a kid I had a poster of the original Countach - and hafta' say this does the lineage justice. The interior is gorgeous - but that white would need constant cleaning and care to stay looking good.
Anyone else notice that the reason why it was so loud and those shifts were brutal is because he kept those rpms up and into the red the entire time. I bet whoever rented that to him and ran a diagnostic was pissed!!!

That's one of the cars that I always loved as a child that and the Ferrari F40. Closest I ever got to having one was seeing a countach at a car show as a child 😂

This is the most beautiful and most "Lamborghini" styling cues I have seen in 15 yrs. A lot of the recent cars were a departure from tradition. This a retro modern for sure!
I think the frunk was designed to fit two helmets, but not positive. Agreed on the taillights, and while I normally hate white-out or triple-white cars, this one looks nice in it. If you need a short driver, I'm 5'7 🤣

Can't believe they didn't go with dual clutch transmission but otherwise I love it!
It's impossible to fit a dual clutch because of the way the aventador is built. Don't be fooled, it's an aventador with a twist and nothing more. But it's still awesome that they made it. I hope they'll do the same with the Diablo.
The white interior is SICK😎👌🏻. Also that Italian flag switch is 👌🏻.

Shame it doesn't have a manual gearbox.
For those of us old enough to remember the first of the original Countach also had very clean lines and no silly wings or wheel arch extensions.
Not easy finding a manual transmission that can handle that kind of HP

That's a neat looking car..beautiful inside & out, brutal & go crazy fast to nearly 360 kmh. You need to be a matador to drive these V12 Lambo bulls. Good review 👍

Having grown up with the poster on my bedroom wall, it's nice to see it come back in recognizable fashion. In case he didnt realize, he liked the a/c vents but not the tail lights and they're the same shape if I'm not mistaken. I do wish that they did more of the retro vibe with the tail lights, it would have helped tbh

Funny that the guy who invented canon ball run stopped doing it after a friend of his bought one of these to run in the race because he realized that it was to dangerous to drive that fast with a person who didn't have enough experience to drive a car of that caliber.... That being said I still want a old one and the new one. It's so freaking cool to me. I grew up with this being the ultimate Lambo to have.
This and the Diablo are the only lambos that I actually really like. They nailed it on this one, and I LOVE the tail lights.

Funny, I was thinking the same thing. I railed against it when I first saw it (in print and video) but, like you, it has grown on me. With less judgmental eyes, I can see the homage and it has been well done.

Grew up with the Countach poster on my wall. I like this version. I think they did a good job on making it favor the old car. Just one note. You said you hated the tail lights but loved the air vents up front on the dash. Funny thing is the tail lights and the air vents on the dash look like the same shape. Hmmm so you don’t like the shape of the on the back of the car but like the shape on the inside?

This is an Aventador with a body kit
I like the original Countach very much and as many I had a poster of it in my bedroom. I was lucky to drive it some years ago, but it is not an easy to handle vehicle. I am happy to hear that some of its characteristics are found in the new interpretation as well. Actually, I would have placed also from the new one a paster in my bedroom. By the way, here in Germany you may have tried the 221mph on the Autobahn 😁

I can't believe I haven't heard anything about this car until today. The ginormous NACA duct is a bit much.
If I was a billionaire, I would definitely get one. A bespoke car with a 6 speed manual transmission. I'm sure if you threw down an extra million, they would likely build one for you.

I would love to see you do a review of the Ferrari Daytona one day.
For the price, it should have the classic late model Countach wing, except one that actually works and has the active aero tech from the Performante. Hell both ends should have active aero for this price. Then it might be worth closer to the scratch they are asking. Still looks great, especially in this package (although the black side intake would look better if it were just white, it competes too much with the window imo). But I agree with the others in the comments saying something is missing...

I used to get really excited about Lambos and such when I was a kid in the 80’s. These days it only represents a childhood dream.
Not gonna lie I mostly like exotic cars because of the way they look and this gets an A+ wow.
